It’s a bummer that they don’t use different last because a couple of Jordan’s I purchased overseas to play ball in fit me way better as a PF or EP. US releases are really narrow and painful to break in and I stop doing that to save my feet. FIGHT THE ALGORITHM!!!

I think you're correct in thinking EP means Engineered Performance. Here in the Philippines, some of the Nike performance shoes have that in their boxes upon purchasing them when you check for yourself.

I’ve only had one translucent outsold shoe. The KD 9 elite. Traction amazing for 5 steps. Ever since then I haven’t had a translucent outsole shoe.

Thank you to you for your recommendation a while ago, I have been a regular customer of ID4 shoes. Purchased my Air Jordan 36's PF models and Air Joran 38's PF models from them with no issues whatsoever. Great communication, good prices, GREAT items, and FAST shipping even being overseas. I really like the old school uncluttered back to basics style of this sneakers but will be waiting for more colourways before getting a pair. It's very Nike Air Ship in it's simplicity which is it's most endearing design feature. Another top tip info there Chris about clear outsoles. I heard about the tight squeeze sizing so am going to try these in-store for sure. I might get a ton of horse🐎shoe marks on my ankles from kicking but they're easier to get rid off than one huge mighty duck🦆

For the algorithm! Haha. Honestly I like the solid outsole on this color. It feels like it matches the vision of it being a shoe that can be worn on and off the court. Maybe that's the route I'll go once I can try a pair and know my correct size.

I got the Jordan 38 pf from id4shoes and I purchased the aqua 38 from Nike. The pf version is still going strong after numerous wears with little show of sole separation but I had to return the aquas because the translucent rubber ripped on the little v cut of the sole after playing in them once. Solid rubber>>>translucent

I had the PG 5 EP XdR solid rubber and that traction lasted me a year and a half on playing outdoors 3-4 days a week.

There's actually an explanation of clear rubber, in Asia it's stated that or peak performance like the traction clear rubber is actually better because it's more sticky aspect. Meaning it sticked to the ground more while normal rubber may seem better but once it went too hard it just slips down rather than row down. However, clear rubber is a lot less durable and here in Asia ppl play in the streets more so that why many models use XDR rubber instead.
