Totally a re-release, rebranding of old tech. I love how you call it like you see it, without holding back regardless of the brand you are reviewing. Nike seems to be so disconnected internally as a company. It feels like Nike's ego as a brand has infected internal teams so much that the egos of each team stop them from communicating with each other. Like Marketing, Design, Innovation, PR teams all refuse to talk to each other.

This is the first airmax since the 90 that I'd actually buy. I think the most un-trustworthy vegetable has to be celery. Celery takes more calories to eat than it gives you.

The best looking air max shoe since the 95's. To me at least. They actually remind me of the Shox XT, and I loved that shoe too. I can't find any diagrams or tech info on the Am 2002 Tubular air system but you're not wrong, this is a rehash not a eureka moment in air max history as touted. Don't really care I'm just going to casually use them anyway. Most squash varieties are on my list.

ive always prefered the air units not encased in foam, i'm one of those weirdos who loves the vapormax. I'd love to see a unit similar to the 97 but modernized to be softer but not as extreme as the scorpion.

Yes! I knew you were gonna bring up the tubular air. And I remember Reebox having that chambered air...DMX? My dad also had a pair of Nike walking shoes in the mid 90s that had sort of a puffed out bubble in the outsole that encapsulated air in the heel, then a chamber leading to a similar bubble in the forefoot!

A huge gripe of mine is how Nike just refuses to use forefoot air on their new Air Max models. Why even bother if you're not using forefoot air. This is just another normal foam encased Air Max unit. I will be buying at least one pair just to have them but I'm really getting upset with this lack of air. We went from full-length Max to pretty much half a heel. Corn is definitely the most suspect. Those little guys come back around.

Great review!! You were spot on with Nike redesigning,repurposing, rebranding most of their products. Specifically, with this Air Max DN. This is similar to the auto industry where they do the same roughly every 7-10 years. Also, are you planning on getting the Adidas x TMNT sneaker collab?

I’m glad you mentioned DMX because when you said there was a tube connecting the units moving air through them, I was all… that sounds familiar. And for today’s question: beets! Mainly because when they’re cooked they sorta looked like canned cranberry sauce and when you bite into them, you expect that tart flavor but then you get met with… texture.

Grabbed this color way and I'm pleased. Looks and feels great. Don't necessarily think they should b lying saying its new tech but I don't care that they actually recycled it. We live in a world where nothing is original anymore and everything is a reboot or retooled version of something so it is what it is I guess. Either way love the shoes regardless.

I ordered the dark smoke grey ones that were only available on Snkrs app. I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't sure on how I was going to like them once I got them in hand and on foot. But they beat every expectation I had for them. Comfort=10 And the style of them are fire so I would give that a 8 of 10. The fit is reminiscent of the airmax 95s. For comfortable.

The dynamic chemistry between you two is always why I watch your channel and content. But the Nike DN is not a quality product. If you come down off the hype and just feel the quality you will see it. It’s extremely cheaply made. I purchased 3 colors and will definitely be returning them. This will be on sale really soon or at least at the outlet. Appreciate you guys.

I had those tubular air max in all black and LOVED them. they were an outlet find, maybe? loved the funky upper, also. definitley giving tubular vibes on the Dn :) broccoli. always broccoli. kill it with fire, but a good distance away form me because it smells like diapers and ham.

The fact that there is nothing in the forefoot makes the whole thing an absolute lie. If it was full-length, I'd be open to believing the marketing. Nothing in the forefoot. Where exactly is the air supposed to go when you heel strike? Nowhere. That's where.

my guess was that the 'new' dynamic air was diff to tubular because whilst it has 4 units only two are pressurised so it flows between the 4? and the forefoot has diff pressure to the heel. i dont think tubular ever did that, but i could be wrong, still a stretch to call it new though lol
