The black versions are super comfortable and I tried to play in them. As you said the cushion is awesome and so is the traction (dunno why nike hasn't used it on new lines!) But I only lasted 10 mins into the game, I'm a heavy guy and they didn't quite have enough support for me. They ticked all the other boxes including looking hella cool. Thank guys keep em coming!

There are photos of Scottie Pippen wearing both iterations so this is still a true rerelease to the OG minus the 8 stitched on the heel but would have been the obvious plus to go for as true to the main pair that was worn. Plus that Mullin wore them is the added plus. Great shoe to release and looking forward to my pair arriving.

Dope review! Pleased with the cushioning, not so much with the uppers but for this shoe, it’s price point and nostalgia it’s all worth it. My hope is that they release other OG pairs, like the black/white and the light graphite! Again thanks for shining some light on these pippen retros!

I respect all Sneaker KZbinrs out there but the knowledge combine with how passionately he looks at, hold and describes his shoes every episode combine with the quality of the set and content, visually and audio wise...This man is the Elon Musk of this genre of youtube. No one Sneaker KZbinr contains all of these qualities combined like this guy. No guests to persuade us as to what's hot...Why? The celebrities are wealthy! They don't count...clothing is a tax write off as well...this hosr ckearly understand what a sneaker head really is because he's one and he's actually helping fellow sneakerheads by honestly telling us the pros, cons and quality of new shoes saving us from buying duds unlike other sneaker podcast talks about even shoes that nobody buys as if they are the ish when all they care about is winning over sponsorships and checks from even the wackest of brands. @Dope Dev man I just grabbed the puma rise nitro spectra at dicks sporting goods for 24.72 before they sold out and love em especially at that price but these I can remember wanting to get when I was a kid.. woulda been 11 at t he time he was wearing em so now seeing em for 103 it's like man ima fn order these lol!!!! But just started gettin back into Ballin prolly cuz my kiddos are gettin older and currently rockin the zion 2 cement colorway as my main bball shoe with those pumas for whenever outside inside but feel these too would be good and be like a trip down memory lane everytime I look at em amd put em on. I always thought that this was a good shoe, comfortable and doesn't break the bank, money wise. I think that I just saw this, or a similar colorway sitting at Finishline in the Great Mall in Milpitas. I may have to go back and check em out. Thanks for the storytelling and tech specs. For die hard retro collector, we would love to have the silver panels in there. But Nike realized that anything with silver or gold doesn’t seem to sell well with the younger generation. Hence they took it out of this model. Just my opinion. I could be wrong.
