Puma Stewie 3 Review: Did They Just Make Another Kobe...But Better?

I will never understand why Nike doesn’t want to make Kobe’s accessible for the masses. They would rather have other brands make a shoe that feels and plays just like their model. Meanwhile, people slowly over time will end up gravitating towards other brands for future purchases. Grateful for other brands for making great products!!

just my 2 cents id say they don't want to take away sales from other products and they dont want them sitting again. They make them limited and hard to obtain and they can justify releasing more even though in most acts of business or atleast in shoes it doesnt make sense to limit product when those shoe mold cost thousands to create per size.

they should have at least made a yearly general release model in a laker colorway. Kobe has so many fans that would appreciate it and make exclusive colorways more limited. I think that would be a fair balance for true fans, collectors and resellers

Nike for the past 15 years are trash plain and simple they r just recycling old tech but with a new marketing spin on it . That's all . The most innovative shoes in basketball were released in the 2K like with the Answer/ Iverson shoe line reebok use to innovate and so did Adidas to a certain extent . So far rn the main Jordan line is hit and misses but mostly HIT from a tech/perf point but other than that it's marketing scam on steroid for shoes that are less durable and worse made than 20 years ago .

I feel like none of these drop-in midsoles have arch support. Only shoe as of recent that I’ve put on & can FEEL the arch support is the Jordan 38 (or whatever Jayson Tatum was hooping in before his on own shoe)

I’ve always played in Kobe’s since the original Kobe 1. When they started taking the shank out I sprained my foot and realized I needed a shank or at least a method of torsion support.

I grow up with Kobe's shoes. I fell in love with the 6 and 8 one sooo good the zoom insert was incredible nowdays, I 've found a shoes that have the same skills like zion 3 but it's very tiny plantar. another problem it's too soft the outer sole that is in contact with the basketball court.

Love my Puma melo shoes but I wish they had better designs. They are wide-foot friendly and have amazing cushioning but I hate their silhouettes and color schemes.

Chris, I also love BonChon chicken! As for the QOD, I'd rather know the day I'm finally kicking the bucket. I'm more at ease with knowing how much time left I've got in this world, than what the cause of my demise will be. That way, the day before I die, I'm gonna put on my favorite Jordan kicks (will definitely be the Chicago 1 highs), my fave WGI X-Men tee, and celebrate one last time with my loved ones. I have been walking on barefoot shoes for a long time and I'm looking for good basketball shoes that are wider but do give adequate support for the intense play of basketbal. Nike has not done it for me lately. My last two hoop shoes were both Antas(thanks Kyrie) shockwave 5 pro and kai 1. Both are better than any Nike hoop shoe I've played in in a long time.
