Nope, just Autumn rains in the area after an especially hot summer. Even the Romans wrote about it. There are detailed historical records of floods in that area in Autumn since the 1500s.

I remember back in April that Dubai proudly announced they were cloud seeding to lower the temperatures. A few days later the city had a years worth of rain in 24 hours and flooded the entire city. Of course the government said it had nothing to do with the cloud seeding 🙄

Am I the only one that thinks sewage runoff running directly from the city, through the beach area, into the sea is not the greatest thing for the environment or people's health? At the very least, it should be directed via pipeline further out from the beach, instead of running right through it.

it's not sewage its a storm drain taking rain water from drains into sea. sewage system uses different system, drains, treatment plants, terminals, etc, etc

There was lots of sewage on the Boulevard, the drainage system couldnt handle it so the was all over the place. 😷
