Glad you are ready to start the season Eric. But carnalito if your trailer is not on leave ground and the trailer itself is not on level you putting the level on the fender is not going to be level. when ever you are attching, welding or mounting any on something that is never truely level you dont want to use a level. you are better off just using a simple tape measure and measure the same distance and space. For example you put 2 blocks of 2x4 on each tire front and back good. But then you removed 1 2x4 from the rear tire. now when you put the trailer under load you will have more clearance on the front axle but the rear axle is going to rub. I’d say it’s less than 30 miles and I’d put any amount on it anyone wants to bet. Welding thru paint with flux core and down hill is not something too many ppl can do plus that’s not even how you do it. You have to weld an angle to the frame and set it on the angle then weld all the way across the bottom of the fender. This is actually scary to watch knowing this guy is actually driving this on the road with a bobcat on it.
