Nice video. I as a younger person in my early teens was very good shot. I shot in the cadets for a while and would happily hit five or so spot bulls out of ten 2" targets at 25 metres with a .22 rimfire. As I got older I was in the forces and loved the opportunity to shoot with larger calibres. My best shot was 750mts with a 7.62. I loved this vid as it took me back to my personal training of breathing, holding, waiting and just touching the trigger for the shot and keeping the same position until the recoil ended to know that I had shot where I wanted the shot to go. I somehow should have kept up competition shooting but never had the resources and wish that I could now have a go at rifle shooting again. I never used a scope and had to rely on iron sights. Nice vid and a trip down memory lane for myself. Cheers JC!

Still a great pump gun even though it is mostly plastic, kzbin.infoUgkxh4su9YgU1tWmjikirWcKJbjsFLEU62Bc but with care it will last a long time. It would be neat if Crosman would make a commemorative version of this with real wood stock, but of course it would weigh more and cost more, but hey, it would be cool. The included scope is more of a toy, but it does work for backyard plinking. I prefer to use pellets for greater accuracy, but BBs are just as good for plinking. This is not a Red Ryder folks; fully pumped it is 3 times the power of a Red Ryder and can be dangerous if not handled properly. Be safe out there.

I’ve got the Carbonmark Pro in 6.5 Weatherby RPM and it’s worth ever penny. It’s a great shooting rifle that’s very accurate when the user does their job. Factory ammo is great but handloading takes it to the next level. Glad you got to try one out. They are not appreciated like they should be.

I’ve invested 2 grand in a steel action lol. There’s a lot of custom action makers that refuse to even offer titanium, as they say there are some inherent issues. Now we are seeing steel/aluminum that’s about at the titanium weight without the flaws of titanium.

Well, I guess a hand drill is usually a step up from a brace and bit, but they're really good at jumping around or twisting like a struck gyroscope when they find a surprise. Maybe a good Taiwanese vertical mill will follow you home some day. ;-)

@@tgsoutdoors ofc you have cooper, Dakota, and a few other brands, but the weatherby mark v is the rifle most guys dream of. At 3,900 usd for their top model, it definitely isn’t for the average person. Also the weatherbys cartridges are quite expensive. 5-10 dollars a shot can be hard on the pocket book.

It’s a tough one, and one I have complained at manufacturers for before however the same feedback comes from them all: 1 - 97% of people throw the packaging away 2 - posh cardboard is less environmentally friendly and not recyclable 3 - wouldn’t you rather we spent that money on the product. I would love to see this rifle delivered in a fit all flight case, but would be apprehensive of paying £250 extra for the privilege
