My humble question is, will it be easily accessible to an international audience or behind a geo-block ?

@@Dqtube Yes! For any of our Weathered fans outside the US, every episode will be available to watch on PBS.org too! All six episodes of the show will be available globally at this link (www.pbs.org/show/weathered/) on 10/2 as well as on the PBS App.

This should be on youtube as an alternative to the overabundance of climate denialist messaging within the algorithm, as much as people need to get paid, it would likely be better for everyone if you just asked fans to go to ur website and kept posting here. Google doesnt just have an ads based monopoly they also have a video content distribution monopoly, and that means a lot of people are stuck on this app, and with such an addicting algorithm you are increasingly unlikely to be able to get people to go off platform, if you want people to see the things you put effort into, you still need to use the monopoly

An Environmental Correspondent I follow on twitter just posted an Ocean Heat Content graph for the Gulf of Mexico, which plots the average oceanic temperatures recorded between 2013 and 2024. He sourced it from the Upper Ocean Dynamics Lab, which I believe is in Florida. He posted it in reference to Hurricane Helen, commenting that the record hot temperatures may make Hurricane Helen a much stronger storm by the time it reaches Florida. Nobody realizes just how important our marine ecosystems are. I love the Weathered series, and I'm looking forward to watching the new show.

My heart just aches for everyone caught in the path of these terrible storms this week. There will be more storms, more deaths, more grief if we don't elect a leader willing to do what's needed! The Democrat presidential candidate has a plan of action against climate change. The Repubican candidate doesn't even believe in it. We have a choice to make in November. I hope we choose wisely. So glad you have made a video about our climate weather threat.
@anthonymorris50842 ай бұрын
Data proves that death tolls from every natural disaster *including every single climate related disaster* has been in precipitous decline for a hundred years. There is no evidence whatsoever that storms are getting worse or more frequent. None.

This got me to download the PBS app but it looks like a TV show by you with this name has already existed for four seasons. I just want to make sure I am watching the right thing? I really love your content because it's factual and not overly sensationalist and also not just doomsday-ish, but with a look towards a positive future also

It baffles me a lot that when Europe is (presumably) acting more climate conscious the burgeoning upper middle class in India is getting into hedonism and conspicuous consumption. It's another hockey stick graph in making.
@anthonymorris50842 ай бұрын
You want Indians to remain impoverished? Why would you define a rising quality of life as "hedonism".
@morenofranco92352 ай бұрын
I can imagine that I sound cynical - HOWEVER - I have been watching this "climate change" situation unfold since 1967. I am 73 now. I wont make the next 10 years. So I will be spared seeing the incoming disaster which has already breached the horizon. It will be here sooner than you will all wish. Anyway. I must get along. And do have fun.
@anthonymorris50842 ай бұрын
If you're truly 73 then you lived through the false claim that the US had reached peak oil in the 1950's You also lived through nuclear Armageddon that never happened. The Impending ice age that cometh. The 1973 energy "crisis" that never materialized. The claims that we were all going to starve to death by the 1980's Then Y2K. All of these crises began with "scientists say". Have you learned nothing in 73 years? BTW, why don't you look 73 in your KZbin ID?
