It’s a nice set ,got one for my son at an online model shop when they were first out for £25 but railroad models are going for silly money now for what was meant to be a budget entry into the hobby ,my blue/yellow HST I’ve seen on eBay for nearly £200 anyway off my soap box ,you’ve done a great job looks superb all the best Mark 😊👍🏻

Hi Mark. It seems that lots of used model rail prices have gone mad over the past year or so. I guess it’s a sellers market at the moment due to unavailability. Generally speaking, the set can be good value. A shunter on It’s own will be £40. 3 wagons for £8-£9. So if you can find these for around £50 or so, it’s a good deal I’d say

Looks great as always! When watching weathering videos though, it always crosses my mind, how much are the axles and con-rods affected by the application of all these materials? Can it tend to gunk them up and impair movement at all?
@BuntersYard3 жыл бұрын
Yes indeed. I apply any products sparingly around the mechanical connections so as not to impair any functions. I try to mention this in the videos, but it’s a good point to raise Thanks for watching again
