If that concoction is made from white pva glue, just water it down like a wash. Buy a 3 dollar tube of burnt sienna from abteilung, and use mineral spirits to dilute it. Really helps for what you're doing. Oil paint will last you along time for washes

Yes I've done dusty windows on this now yeah I've done that before I haven't used oils in a while actually next project definitely a shout for sure 😀
