Update 1/26/2022-I have removed the Weathertech deflectors from my Honda. They just will not stay in place. I followed instructions to the T. If they had an adhesive strip on them that would work. I had an 04 CRV that I put OEM deflectors on. They had adhesive strips. They stayed in place.

@@bryanmchugh1307, I also have a 2004 CRV but it seems Honda doesn't sell these OEM deflectors anymore. I'm still looking a substitute. Did you have any luck with other deflectors? Or maybe adding a 3M double-sided tape to WeatherTech could glue it in place?
@bryanmchugh1307 Жыл бұрын
@@LLF1234 I regret trading in my 04 CRV. The OEM deflectors for my 2018 CRV are HORRIBLE. They are off the vehicle now and sitting in my garage collecting dust. The 2004 CRV had a lot going for it that the new ones do not. For example the rear glass opens independently of the hatch leaving you with the ability to have really long objects sticking out the back window. My new CRV does not have that.

Mine just arrived. I chose them knowing I was paying double price compared to the average window visors I've installed on other cars. But these don't show the flange at the top like the others. On a black background, like on my Lincoln, that's not distracting. But on my red Tacoma truck it would be. I hate paying $17 for shipping under two pounds of plastic, but ... I went to the Weathertech website for instructions, since the page of bi-lingual instructions were inadequate. Nope, that internet page wasn't available; it is"under construction." So I found this video. Thanks for that!! I saw another video here where the owner cracked his front visor trying to remove it, and he had trouble getting customer service to help him. So I was extra careful on my install. My front visors were very tight. I almost gave up at one point, afraid I'd crack one too. But I kept slowly working it into the channel until I saw the gasket seal was folding inward from the pressure from the visor insertion! I had to slowly and gently pull about 5 inches of the gasket outward from the grip of the visor, taking care to not tear that fragile gasket material. Then the visor went into place. On the back window I tried to slide the visor up into the channel to check for correct fit first. It got stuck on BOTH sides in the channel by its sharp end-edges digging into that same gasket material. If I pulled it down it would easily rip the gasket. So I left the (now) hidden end pieces of adhesive tape cover in place and (luckily) pulled the top tape cover off before sliding the visor up into the channel. I followed the directions here and slowly brought the windows up fully. When done with that I stepped back and heaved a sigh of relief. Then I heard a snap from the right front passenger window, close to where I stood. I don't know what snapped, but it was a clear, distinctive sound. I don't (yet) see any cracks in the glass or the visor, but I have yet to lower any windows because of the instructions to leave them up for 12 hours. I'll update if there's a real problem. Just thought I'd share and hope others take it SLOWLY when installing these.

I love my WeatherTech delectors. Easy to install on my Saturn Vue 2007 (yeah, it took me years to decide to get them). My advice, be patient and watch a few videos, and make sure to seat the deflectors on the "outer" rubber lips/channels (my Vue has an inner lip on the front windows, and my deflector's rear flange slid into the wrong one and the window would bump into it...took me a minute to figure this out and correct it).

I installed them on my 2013 F-450. The rear side window vents did not have any type of adhesive, as shown in the video. Put it on twice on a Volvo XC70, but kept breaking the flanges. Watched video several times, and also other KZbin videos on installation. Had done installation previously on three other cars, include a Volvo 18 years ago--which is still in and working well. I kept breaking the flanges on the front window ones--it was not possible to keep the rear of the deflector at a 1/2 inch gap, due to the extreme slope of the Volvo XC70's front window--as I rolled up from the front, the rear would rise at the way to the top; and then midway, the deflector would get caught between the window seal. When I think it is finally installed in channel and bring the window up, there is a cracking sound and the flange would break--once at the front flange, twice on the rear flange. I don't know where the broken flange pieces went, must have dropped inside my window. Good thing Weathertech sent me replacements. I will hold off until warmer weather to try to reinstall again. Have not taken out the one with the front broken flange yet--and maybe that's why I am getting wind noise. These are a lot thinner than the ones I got for my Volvo 18 years ago--significantly so--maybe that's why they break at the flange--don't know. The Volvo XC70 has a very slopping and long front window--very hard to install. Was thinking of getting another brand next time if it does not work out. (The rears are fine.)

when are these going to be available for the 2015 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon?
@weathertech9 жыл бұрын
I do not currently have an ETA for your vehicle. I would recommend filling out our Product Request Form: www.weathertech.com/service/product-request-form/. This tool allows us to see the products our customers would like for their vehicles. It also allows us to notify you if/when the product you’re looking for becomes available.

Can these be installed and then uninstalled depending on the weather? I would only need them if it's raining.

followed the instructions 100 percent and these were not good quality, the adhesive peels right off of the inner strip, the material these are made from are cheap, two pieces broke causing the broken piece to damage the interior of the vehicle - who is running quality control at WeatherTech ?

My front Windows wont go up all the way with these. Why not?
@xex2kok7 жыл бұрын
The "all the way" up setting is just a hair lower than without using the rain guards. Because of how they are designed with the small lip sitting between the rubber and the window this will happen. Most cars should have a feature to set the full up/down length of the window. You should check your cars manual and if all else fails go to or call the dealer and explain that you installed these and your cars window doesn't stop trying to go up when it hits the top.

ImmaGhost They should not damage the rubber fittings. Also, if you need any help with removal, you can always give our Customer Service team a call and they should have tips for easiest ways to remove the deflectors: 800-441-6287
