The people that represent weaver are brilliant i have spoken to Daniel a few times who is another extreamly talented person just like yourself, the press will need to wait until im at a level where im making money. But extreamy informative show and that press is an absolute unit. All the best from Scotland.

Thorough review, mate👍 I'd seen this machine a couple of days ago via a leather worker on Instagram. I ordered myself one yesterday. QUESTION: The artwork die/stamp that appears at 1:28...where'd you get it?? I like the volume; it's nice & thick. I've got one, but the one I I have is thin like the one shown at the 1:53 mark.

Great review! It's great to know some of the pros and cons. The Weaver Clicker Press is definitely on my list of "must gets." Do you have any recommendations for a similar tool that is more affordable for a a beginner until saving up for the Weaver Clicker Press?

That's a great question. I used a $250 press I got off of Amazon up till just a few months ago when I got the mighty wonder. I used that press for about a year before I gave it away when it was replaced by this one. The $250-$350 presses on Amazon get the job done and are well worth the price. But you'll want to replace it at someone. They are hard and time consuming to adjust and level out. They are good if you use one thickness of dies/stamps. But you can't see the work area and thats what made me upgrade. I hope that helps a little.

Hi…thanks for info. Have you tried using a larger plate or base to allow for clicking out pieces larger than 8x12??

Hi Dennis. Where do you get your plastic dies? I’m looking for a cheaper alternative, Weaver’s dies are too expensive for me.

I was looking at this for comparison to The BuckleGuy 4-ton press. Have you been able to compare?
@vandengaaskjolen18217 ай бұрын
Not sure if you’re still looking but I can tell you the Buckle Guy press is built in Asia and the Weaver is built in the USA. There’s also 10% sales and free shipping from Weaver now that make them almost the same price.

Do you think this clicker press would work well on light weight leather like deerskin?
