Good Day! I just gone my machine yesterday and I've already been messing around with each of the cartridges to see what it will do. I think I've come to the conclusion that this machine is going to be awesome in conjunction with my tooling stamps to get to the look I've been unsuccessful achieving with stamps alone. I am one of those who you refer to as not fully on board with the western art (I'm a CA surfer/beach girl...) The patterns I prefer are difficult to find in leathercrafting. Looking forward to making those patterns myself now! Thank you so much for all your hard work ~ I appreciate you! I'm off to scout out your project videos using this machine!! /subbed!

I've never liked tooling because of how difficult it is to hold the tools for so long. Then trying to learn the technique on top of that has been discouraging. I'm no artist, but I feel this could definitely be something I could use. Thank you for all your hard work

Hi, my fiance seen your video, and is very excited about your tool, and the accessories for it. She was big into crafting, but after her stroke a few years ago she found she couldn't do a lot of the hand work that is required of leatherwork, due to not being able to hold the small tools properly. She has had to give up her crafting to a large degree because of losing most of the use of her right hand and arm. This machine, she says, will give her back her ability to do some of her passion.

Will the cartridges need to be sharpened like regular leathercraft tools?

Just ordered the kit from Weaver. Can't wait til it gets here. I plan on using it in conjunction with my traditional methods. BTW congrats on your association with them. I was wondering if they carry the large beveler cartridge yet?

Damn, I wish I came across this while I had disposable income. This sounds like a really interesting idea for a new tool, I'll be keeping my eye on this and picking one up to try when I can afford to.

This is done with a standard tattoo gun?

I tried some black tattoo ink with a brush on a tooled background. Looked like black gloss acrylic paint. So for me it was a fail. As far as this machine and method, I’ll stay traditional.

Maybe you should have tried black leather dye since you were putting it on leather.

How do I make a purchase?

Do you still sell the cartridges by themselves? Website looks like you are only selling the kit made with Weaver leather. I have a tattoo machine, so I don't need the whole kit.

Is there a free trial period?...lol..jk I think it's a great idea & I've thought about something similar. I'd love to see a video of you using it more in depth...

^^same. I'll be watching for videos showing projects you've done with the machine. I think I saw a sunflower project you were working on show up on one of my feeds. Gotta go chase that down!

Leathercraft like Sheridan style does take time, patience and practice. Stamping tools like dragon scales, basket weaves and other geometric patterns take precision. If you’re looking for something fast and easy perhaps others may have a recommendation. Best of luck with whatever you decide.

Yeah for capitalism!! and anything that helps with hand pain. Great idea . I like the big round shape. That machine really works great when it is attached to you!🤣 I'm in. Soon
