I'm a Weavile main and all this is pretty spot on, but you forgot to mention that jY in field can also erase weaker projectiles, and that you can actually move while spinning with 5Y in field. Other than that, great video.

Weavile is such a strong rushdown character but I had no idea it has that many useful projectiles. I see side Y all the time but the other ones look luck useful options too.

Pretty good overview. Some stuff I would have mentioned, though: - You forgot the straight-back firing icicle crash angle, and in general, didn't really explain the utility of the firing down, firing backwards-down, and firing straight back angles,, but these are incredibly important, as weavile gets propelled the direction OPPOSITE the projectile gets fired: so you can use these to propel you fowards in an arc, straight ahead in a line (useful to get in over non anti air projectiles) or to be pushed even further into the air (useful for scumming for time outs, especially when not fast falling, among other things) respectively. Combined with Weavile's fastfall and his j.x this gives you INSANE aerial mobility and redirection tools, which allows him to avoid enemy hits, cross them over from midair to get out of the corner easily, and in general avoid getting hit and staying away, or also using it to get in in unexpected ways. - you didn't mention how his sY in field has multiple distances it can be launched at - you accidentally called knock off night slash - The on screen text said it, but the fact that taunt has I-frames for the entire duration it's hield once triggered is very important: If you trigger an enemies taunt, the weavile player )or you, as a weavile) can just unleash the move the moment the other player doesn't have active frames. -

i’m just now playing the game :,) since it’s on a free week trial for online members i decided to give it a shot and i love it. currently, i’m maining weavile and i’m doing better than i’ve ever done at ANY game 😎

I would honestly have Weavile as a backup main, especially the fast movements using claw swipes against opponents. I like the speed at which Weavile is able to attack and I would main along with Sceptile.

Doesnt nY lose to almost every other projectile in field phase? I dont see it being useful because of the risk that the opponent will throw out their projectile at the same time and just phase shift because of nYs end lag
