There was actually a good rock scene in Nashville back then...Webb, the Royal Court of China, The Blind Farmers, Government Cheese (BG actually, but they might as well have been a Nashville band), others.

Yep was glad to be part of that scene... I was cleaning up and found a copy of "City without a subway" a WRVU compilation album with most of the bands you mentioned on it. This song was Web's contribution, Can't forget - Jason and the Nashville Scorchers (at the time, later dropped the Nashville part) , - Jay Joyces band "In Pursuit", "Tom Littlefield and the Questionnaires", - "The Dusters", - "Guilt" - "Dave Olney and the x-rays", - " Foster and LLoyd" - "Steve Earl and the Dukes" - I could go on and on... : )
