You end method was correct but the starting off webbing must be identical. You have to flip and tack BOTH start and end identically. Nice webbing lever though, much more leverage & gentle than the normal spiked ones.

Would have been nice if the other person working in your shop could have stopped hammering for 2 min, 13 sec. It was a little distracting but thanks for the video anyway.

I’m frustrated because all the demonstrators in these DIY videos assume we all have this special tools. I don’t, how can I do the webbing with out these fancy tools? Thanks 👍🏼

make the tool out of a plank of wood, drill out the holes where the webbing goes through (not straight through but an on angle) Clear out hole using screwdriver & hammer, or chisel and hammer. For the "buckel" cut off the end of old broomstick. Use any hammer for the tacks.

I am sorry Auset but you do need specialist tools to do upholstery You can buy webbing stretchers on line and in craft shops or even make one for yourself. There are a couple of different versions but the one I use is the one I find the most effective and easiest to use. If you don’t stretch the webbing very tight it will sag and not support the rest of the upholstery
