The only part that needed further attention were the dust seals (shown at 1:47 in the video) I had to remove them and open up the hole because they were gripping the shaft and stopping the butterflies from closing quickly. I clamped them between pieces of wood and drilled through. You can hear the engine start up in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnrPZ3-nlLVmn8U before and after tuning. We used an airflow measuring instrument to check and balance each carb and then set the idle mixture using a colour-tune spark plug having made sure the ignition timing was also set correctly. You'll hear a little bit of popping in the exhaust which was air leaking into the exhaust and was resolved by tightening the exhaust manifold. So far the car feels good.
