There is also widget you can put on your home screen. If android long press a spot on any part of your home screen or other pages, select widgets and scroll till it comes up.

The temp notifications outside the app are working on my phone now. Also for anyone who might need this info: My iGrill3 starting continuously beeping when I use the ambient probe. I opened a ticket through the app (Which was very handy) and Weber emailed me back within the hour. Apparently this is a problem that people are having and they are working on a solution.

Does it moniter gas level as well as probane level for the Weber grill gas type

Nice review. It looks to be pretty much the same on iOS although I don't think the iOS version has any export functionality. I also find the 'dial' for setting temperatures somewhat annoying. I'd rather just enter the values manually and be done with it. How accurate do you find the ambient temp probe? I'm wondering if it would work with the iGrill mini which is what I have.

The ambient probe is accurate, so long as you put it on the warming rack, with the warming rack up.

I also hate the dial for the temp setting. I talked to Igrill the other day about something else and mentioned to them that the dial was in need of adjustment to something more practical. I hate that once your finger reaches a certain point you can't see the numbers because your finger blocks it. So I suggest we all send them some feedback through the app to help get that changed. They respond to feedback super fast and are very helpful.

D Grill it matches the dome temp at that level but not the grilling surface temp. Both are important. I use both to balance my long cooks. The higher the probe is in the grill the hotter it will be just like an oven. That's why you see such a difference in the grill grate and the dome temp.

Just speaking for me, the higher temp is the one I personally stick with and use. And I tried both for some time. But that's me.
