I just had this happen too. I had already emailed Weber about and have now forwarded them your video. Their support has been very good with me so far. They sent me a whole new cookbox due to finish issues on the original. They also sent me a cover and some pellets for my trouble!

Your controller freezing?

@@CookingJoeFoods Yes, the controller freezing. It also went into shutdown mode automatically after about 30 seconds while the controller was still locked up. A quick power cycle and everything was ok again.

@@Coliomacdon I just got off the phone with Weber. They said a firmware update is coming in a couple of weeks that should fix that. Two weeks ago Kevin Coleman said an app update was coming and it did so I believe them as of now.

Too bad you didn’t show the pellet hopper after the 8hr point. How many pounds of pellets did the pit consume in the 8hr run? I want the EX6

I am looking forward to your next videos. I am very interested in this grill but, so far, it has too many problems. As soon as they get this straightened out I am ready. If not I am on to the Camp Chef Woodwind with the seer box.

Not to knock yr smoker,but I just turn loose of that kind of money and have all the problems these things are having. I really hope Weber gets this straighten out for all you guys. Personally glad I went in a different direction.

Different strokes for different folks and that's ok. Somehow we got lost and forgot what matters the most is the food and people you share it with.

your running it on a too small of an extension cord. you need a #10 wire cord. its drawing to many amps. all most all the problems with this new weber is operator errors

I haven't called Weber but it's on their FAQ. They say turn it off then back on. I'll reach out to them today.
