Once approved OPM will do anything they want with you. I am on Fers disability they are not paying me 60% the qst yr. And not paying 40% either.

The time it takes to receive your full payments can vary! You may be in an interim pay status which would typically be lower payments than normal, but the OPM will pay the difference once your payments are finalized. If you are reaching out to the OPM, remember to include your CSA number in your communication so they can reference to your case.

Hello, and thank you for all you and your team does for all. I'll try to keep short. I was just FERS disability retirement approved in San Diego. I'm 53, Well over 20 years, and at age 62 would be 42.7 years time in service. As I understand it, at basically age 62 the disability annuity will be recalculated into regular FERS retirement. After watching soooo many vids, seems no one mentions if someone moves. Question is, If I move to another state, will it be recalculated where I'm living, or still from San Diego COLA and base pay increases?

Great question! Your COLA will be calculated for the location that you retired from.
