Can I apply schedule award even tho I work only up to 4 hrs per day (owcp pays the other 4 hrs or so)

If you are receiving OWCP wage loss payments, you cannot receive a schedule award for the same injury at the same time. You can wait until your wage loss runs out to apply for a schedule award. You must be at maximum medical improvement to receive a schedule award.

After a Scheduled Award payment how long do you have to wait to submit a new impairment rating to increase award?

There shouldn't be a specific time frame that you must wait, if you get an increased rating you can submit it for an increase in award!

Head injuries are not included in the OWCP schedule of body parts. However, if your head injury has caused a permanent impairment to another body part that is on the schedule, that may be approved.

Is it legs as a total or legs separated and get 300 weeks per leg?

Each leg is worth 288 weeks at a 100% impairment rating!

If your on owcp what date do they use for the schedule award if it from the date of injury?

Your schedule award will be paid when you reach maximum medical improvement (MMI). So, when you are unable to recover any further, that is when you will qualify for a schedule award. You cannot receive wage loss payments and a schedule award at the same time- typically schedule awards are paid at the end of wage loss.

Hello, I am now receiving retirement disability. I would like to apply for a schedule award. My question is, do I make the ca7 to my employer, or do I mail it to the department of labor! 32:34

The CA-7 must be filed electronically through the Employees’ Compensation Operations & Management Portal (ECOMP). You can create a profile at www.ecomp.dol.gov.

I just received my letter from OPM and that I have been found to be disabled from your position as a CBPO due to Degenerative Disc Disease and Radiculopathy. Is this part of the "exclusions" list?

If the radiculopathy is accepted by workers compensation then you could potentially get a schedule award in addition to your Federal Disability Retirement!
