This is what I mean when I say 2000s magical girls were EVERYTHING. We had such a variety back in the day, and Precure was just one of the many. Now it’s like we only rely on remakes and Precure for magical girl content. I’m very excited to see where this series goes alongside Acro Trip. We seriously need a magical girl revival.

Pretty Series + Symphogear + Precure = Princession Orchestra The Trailer is magically awesome can't wait for 2025 with 12/13, 24/25, or 40/50 episodes for all ages anime. Hyped for Princession Orchestra the Takara Tomy Magical Girl Anime. This does look interesting, and I'm looking forward to it. Thou, I'd rather they not become a rival show for Precure. Whenever that word comes up, people seem to put too much pressure on the new show and want it to do better, or say the old show isn't trying hard enough. It's like how Pokemon is right now, and when a new Pokemon-like game comes out. Again, that's just me. It'll be a good year for Magical Girl anime. Magilumiere is coming out soon, and that looks good.

that's a pretty good point. The word rival does carry a lot of pressure. Besides it is entirely possible that Princession will only have 1 season. still, I personally love the idea of them being rivals.

I'm really loving what Princession Orchestra is turning up to be! My only critique is the lower part of the outfits. Ripple is fine with her swimsuit theme, but then Zeal and Meteor are... immodest at worst. Meteor is at least being different with her shorts to be more lightning theme, and thus, a swift outfit to move with, but even so, there's no excuse for those girls to be showing more skin than they need to! I still love those designs, but they need to work well in animation to sell me the vision. I'm looking forward to this anime!

I've been a fan of the magical girls genre for years but its hard finding something that isn't covered in Yuri subtext. I haven't seen anything like sailor moon, where the girls have powers but still worry about teen girl stuff like cloths, boys and school. So far the Precure series has been my safe fall back to just enjoy vibrate girls with super powers.

I'm into both! Kid Friendly Idol Shows there are only Aikatsu and Pretty Series as far as I know, but Kid Friendly Magical Girl Series there are a lot! I'm excited for this! I do love Precure, especially the newest season, but I've always wished for more things like It. We have more magical girl things now, but it's not really in the style I'm looking for- though regardless I will be watching the more slice of life focused ones. I do half count idol anime as well (Pretty series and Aikatsu only) but it's still not totally rhe same 😭 they've both got their charms. I don't think it will he able to compete with Precure, nor do I think it should. But I'd like for it to stand beside it, if it does become its own franchise. Then I'll hope for more magical girl series to pop up in the future too! Also Princess Meteor is my favorite design too! They really did choose such a brilliant green for her.

Took the words out of my mouth! To be honest, I’m not a fan of the current Precure season. I wished there was more magical girl animes like Precure that could (hopefully) help shake up the magical girl industry. Not all magical girl animes need to be “edgy”, sometimes they can be cute fun stories about girls kicking butt in frilly dresses and wands. Embrace the pink! (Or pastels). I will be so pissed if this like a “fake out edgy magical anime”.

The first thing that came to my mind was: damn that red girl is Cure Scarlet That blue girl’s civilian form is haruka 1:35 1:37 does this remind anyone of Sky? The similarities are of course not coincidental. The producers are obviously taking advantage of nostalgia (or whatever other feelings there are) in Precure fans In conclusion, this is like 3rd generation Princess Precure (that we know of) Anyway, I’ll be waiting for this series

​@@crueltyfreecolorist1025 for now there is no confirmation of multiple seasons with other themes. I really hope it gets successful enough to that point. What I'm mainly curious about is, because of the title, will every future character team be comprised of princesses? I'd really love different themes like animals, and while those are still possible with princesses, I think it would be more refreshing if they weren't always princesses. I was also previously wondering if the title pigeon-holed the series into being music themed (especially with session meaning a group of musicians), but seeing as the creators' previous property Symphogear featured singing throughout, I wouldn't be surprised if it is kept for all future seasons.

The fairy looks a bit like Chiffon from Fresh precure and he's a bunny like Charu from Doki doki. I like his design, he is cute! Finally some green in a magical girl trio! Still none in Precure but there's a white cure, Nyammy. It's nice but i really miss green! March, Mint and Felice are the only green cures; Milky is blue-green... maybe she counts? 3 is not a lot! We need more cures with this color! I hope there's one in the next season AND it's a boy. Would be cool to have a boy cure in the team 😄
