I was there at the X Games only for Metallica. It was my first ever Metallica show and HOLY SHIT it was amazing

I was there. Had to 120k plus people. It was fucking awesome! Had to pee couldn't get anywhere so many people. I feel it was the best Metallica show I have ever seen!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

I was there! A lot of comments are saying they skipped the X Games. Nah, I enjoyed both. After the last competition wrapped up, I rushed over to where they were gonna perform. The night before Nicki Minaj was performing and I had used that time to scope out the set up. So I knew how to work my way to a good spot and found this wide open area with maybe 15 other ppl there. It was like no one noticed it. Crazy. And a great view. Enjoyed my first Metallica concert in total peace. All thanks to good planning! Haha

I can’t believe I’m just finding this footage. I was here with my best friend. We spent the whole day outside and got sunburned to a crisp but we didn’t fucking care. It was our first time seeing Metallica and it was the best thing ever! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

I bought a wristband for X Games only for Metallica. Waited 4 hours at the gate just to get a good spot. They are the best! Saw them again in 2018 at ACL.

I remember hearing Welcome Home (Sanitarium) while skateboarding at Rye Airfield Skatepark (May that skatepark Rest In Peace, Rip in Peace. 2002- 2021?.) about 2 or 3 years ago. Great song to hear at a skatepark.

If you like the song Cyanide at 30:25, I'd strongly reccommend checking out All Nightmare Long(It reminds me of South Of Heaven by Slayer.): kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3fUm3eOrp6ma6M and the rest of that album Death Magnetic from 2008. I'd say it's maybe there best since 1991's Metallica (The Black Album). And it's similar to listening to ...And Justice For All (1988) and a little bit like the first 3 albums.
