RIP Brendan, any trainer does a great job but thats the point it is a job you teach boxing skills and get paid. It could be £3 a session or millions when the boxer is elite level. No trainer should get attached to a fighter or get bitter about a fighter leaving its a job do not take it personally. It is like say medical school produced a doctor now he has to stay loyal not open his own practice or make more money but stay loyal as he was educated by the school. There is no point moaning and whinging about fighters doing this that and the other, no trainer makes a fighter the fighter makes the trainer, the fighter risks his life everytime he is in the ring. If trainers made fighters there would be a mayweather, Ali naseem hamed in every gym.
