For me, the best thing in my air fryer is making a toasted cheese sandwich. You butter the bread on the inside slices and add your cheese. Then you carefully butter the outside of the sandwich. I find it cooks well in 5 minutes for each side, maybe a little longer. I promise you the taste of the toasted bread (or air fried bread) is crispy beyond anything else, and the melted cheese inside is a winner!

@@LoriKasprzak-yk6nc And that's the kind of rude response anyone with no manners might have written, duh. Not to mention that a grilled sandwich has to be toasted under a grill. The clue is in the name. Please, think about the feelings of the people you're rude to online. Some people might be hurt. Me not so much, because I just let rude people jog on by to try and upset someone else... I'll be kind to you, although your response suggests you don't deserve it. Another tip: Do the same thing as the corn, but with chickpeas. Make sure they're thoroughly drained before mixing with the oil and spices and cook until crunchy. For all those bread crusts that are cut off in these recipes: you could wait for them to go stale, OR you can toss them in the air-fryer and run it until they have lost all their moisture and are completely dry. This is probably best done at a lower temperature, checking every five minutes. Once all the moisture has been removed, you can crumble them by hand or put them in a food processor and you'll have breadcrumbs. There's a lot of other recipes that call for stale bread that these could be used for, but if you aren't planning to make any of those, you can at least get some breadcrumbs and not waste your bread crusts. :)

I’ve had an air fryer since they first came out. mines a ninja, and sure enough! the best thing I’ve ever made is a giant pork tenderloin that I cut into three equal pieces and set them side-by-side. If you do pull the trigger on one be sure to get one with a square basket. Cosori is a great brand. Their nonstick surfaces are safe too.

I appreciate several of these recipes. The huge gnocchi really stood out, and that corn snack, wow! Those are both going on to; “to try list.” I own two air fryers. Thank you!

Recipe #2 shows very interesting, "chicken thighs". At the current cost of chicken breasts, I'm definitely not making them into nuggets.
