Same here; been home from physical rehab for just under a year. Air fryer probably safer than range oven from a wheelchair. Trying to take the burden off hubs shoulders some of the 4 days/week we have no caregiver. Lower shelves of fridge and grabbers are a must. Kitchen counters for balance/support on 1 leg. 😊

I have two air fryers and use them both. One is bigger and one is very small. I mostly use the small one for snacks, but I prefer the larger one. One of the advantages of the larger one is fitting silicone molds or small cake pans in it.

Not sure if you bought one yet, but some air fryers (like mine) have the handle attached to the inner tray, which he removes in the crispy potatoes recipe. This means the machine can’t be operated without both parts. So unfortunately for me, I’m not able to make some of these recipes.

🍟 Welcome to the club when you get one!

I made the Pasta in my 2.5 qt AF. I used premade Spaghetti sauce, added in the water (added .25 cup of more water half way thru) & some of the seasonings. I stirred every 4 min for 20 min. I noticed as I stirred the pasta noodles broke into smaller pieces. *(Next time I will start with them all broken & see if it cooks in 15 min instead.) Before I did the sauce & pasta I dumped frozen peppers & frozen meatballs in untill they were cooked thru. I pulled them out & started the process. The meatballs & peppers went back in during the last 4 minutes. Topped with Parmesan cheese and it was very tasty! Note I bumped temp up near the end too, as I also kept checking with my Instant Read Thermometer, I got it up to 140* F. It was enough for 2 nice sized portions. 😊🍽😋
