Hey Jesse, so I'm in a strings orchestra for my school, and we're playing mission impossible for one of our songs. My teacher wants me to turn into Tom Cruise and free run around the stage ;) but she wants me to do this move... This is gonna be the first flip i'm doing... ever aaaand a lot of people are gonna watch. so just wish me luck please, and know that you're my greatest inspiration because i'm 14 and I still have lots to learn about parkour so thanks!

Hey Jesse! I was wondering if you could do a tutorial/tutorials on some more advanced vaults. Love your work, i have been doing parkour for over a year now and it's all thanks to you :)
@JackRAbbit233212 жыл бұрын
one thing that helped me to learn this trick (which was just two days ago) was making sure that I really pushed as hard as i kicked. Also it helps to jam your elbows or to throw your arms back/upward as hard has possible and to also tuck my chin into my chest.
@Dance3run12 жыл бұрын
Ok, congrats, you've made a great tutorial, which explains the most important steps, but what i hate in 90% of tutorials , that no one explained how to UNTUCK which is MOST important thing for GOOD landings, but anyways one of the best tutorials... :)

I have learned a front flip (thanks to you jessie) buy sometimes when i land, i slip back. I did it yesterday and landed on my coxsis bone. It is now swollen but before that, i actually managed to flront flip of off things. So thxs jessie, your techniques have helped alot. :D. P.S. Not being sarcastic lmfao

The purpose of the back leg is to not only rotate you but the force from the swing is what drives you up for height. I've landed this a couple times. Still learning.

Jesse, you should do aerial movements for beginners like side flips and stuff really want to learn all this,also thanks man i learned all moves except the dash vault and front flip.

God I can't wait for spring/summer when it's warmer. I had to of course try Parkour a month ago when the ground started freezing. But even from what I've practiced so far, I love it. But for this flip...yea I'm going to wait for the ground to thaw before I try this one :P

Nice video video, i actually believe now that iv watched this video, i am that tiny bit closer of successfully doing a webster, however i still need help with one other thing and that is after you have swang your kicking and spinning leg and your already above the surface, i dont know how to get into the tucking position, if you can leave me a comment with what you think i should do, and thanx for the great vid man keep it!!!

jesse, i think that it is amazing how u do this and i was wondering if you could teach me some beginner moves because i am a beginner but i have my heart and mind set on learning parkour and freerunning so i am more than willing to listen and learn
@MCLovingHippiesUK12 жыл бұрын
Another way to progress into doing websters off objects or on flat ground is a "Step-up webster". What you need to do is run towards the object your flipping off (make sure its no more than knee hight) then place your strongest foot on the object. Bend both knees slightly, duck your body down towards your hips then spring up off your leg and throw your arms as shown in the video. This works great to progress or to webster long distances. My longest is 8ft! Please like this so others may see!

Also, what you can try is a webster side. There are two ways I know how to do these, first is to rotate your body, then kick your weakest leg like a cartwheel, then spring off, or my favorite technique which is to throw your strongest arm from above your head, place your foot on the object, turn your body, then spring and wrap your arm round your body. Once again, like so all may learn from this little trick i learnt... I may only be 13, but this trick will work for anyone!

Hey man. Thanks for all your videos. Is the webster shown here easier than the flip you did on the unfound video? The flip im refering to is after a series of precisions and instead of kicking your back foot, you left your foot on the ledge behind you. Is it easier to generate rotation with the ledge or the kick?

I got a question. i wanna start parkour but i live in the country and have nothing to do any tricks on but possibly rocks :P so i decided to look into flips cause it wont require walls and what not. sadly i don't have a pool and its winter im not planning on going to a beach anytime soon cause its November. im worried about trying it in my yard off a rock onto my lawn but i dont want to.. well.. break my neck. would a pile of leaves help my fall if i go off a larger rock? sorry for the long msg
