this really helped, the reason this tutorial was good is because not only does it teach you good technique for the palm spin but also it shows you certain steps on how to approach it, I had a good idea on how to do it but no idea where to start. thank you for making this tutorial!!

You have very nice tutorials on your channel. I started doing everything you said on here and then eventually I could get it on a high ledge! This was the first move I've even done for parkour and i'm hoping to learn a lot more thanks to your videos.
@LaFlairParkour12 жыл бұрын
The fact that you are learning it faster is a good sign your muscle memory is working fine. The truth is it is most likely your confidence that needs to be rebuilt which is completely normal. Doing it on a rail is very similar and I would use the advanced pop technique I talk about.

Thanks to the exercise you suggested, the one involving finishing the spin while starting on the object, I was finally (it seems) able to truly learn the actual spinning motion and do this trick with both left and right hand :D. Using the same principle also, I figured out how to do it with both hands (like a cartwheel), and I'm working on doing it with the opposite hand as well (spin left with the right one). Thank you so much man, you're a great guy :).

So i have recently fell in love with parkour, but im completely our of shape "50 lbs overweight" and i dont have the best balance. I am really thinking about getting more into doing parkour than just watching it. That and i have a goal of being better than my nephew and my sons. so im a little motivated. I landed this move over a dozen times now. (on Lower ledges.) thinking about getting over my fears a little and work my way up to higher walls... None the less this is a great tutorial. Thanks

Thanks man, tha was brilliant. It's been a while since I've been able to do this trick, but I never actually got the edge of it and I'm always fearing that something will go wrong when I do it! With this progression I hope to clear it once and for all. Could you put a note in the description on how to progress to this move with a single hand? I've learned it with a single hand and I'm having trouble getting used to use both :D.
