A few notes: You can use a tent ON a save point when in dungeons which will cure status effects INCLUDING being dead. Onion Knight was known as Pipsqueak but had a name change. Maybe to be more PC? The ORIGINAL Onion Knight was the default class in FF III (that game had multiple classes you could change to). Yeah, what did I say about recycling in FF? And teleport stones don't work in "storyline" dungeons like the Magitech Factory. The sunglasses are the blind status which you can heal with eyedrops (which you bought). It makes you miss more. This said, since you might encounter this again, Barrier CHANGE (not CHARGE) means the enemy's vulnerability changes. The idea of the fight was you were to pick up elemental swords and swap them out as needed along with casting appropriate spells. Lastly, multi-part enemies are a thing in this and previous FF games. While there's no one unifying strategy, some parties do better eliminating one part and then focus attacks on another. But be careful, there are possible changes to leaving certain parts alive without others such as exploding or using a more devastating attack.
