God I remember this. I was 12 and my brother was 17. I used to watch him play and never got to play shenmue but he failed like 4 times and decided to pass me the controller and I aced it the first time. It took forever, but him and I never had a good relationship. It was the first time he was proud of me though~

I cannot imagine what they were thinking with Shenmue 3 combat. If the combat was amazing like the other games I could have forgiven it maybe even loved it but it was just so far below this game and the equally impressive Shenmue 2

Yes, we have GTA 5, San Andrea's, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and even Zelda, but this in my honest opinion, is the best game of all time. No matter what is said, this will always be the best nostalgia aside. The themes, the story, the music, and the innovations in it redefining gameplay for all time. 11/10 🙌🏾

Well, Shenmue 1's cost budget was 70 million at the time and Shenmue 3's budget was around 20 million.
