I purchased the WeCreat because it was going to be my first laser. There were pros and cons to all of them and you have to make compromises in your selection. The WeCreat hit the “sweet spot” for me in being 20W and catching it on sale. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks and I’m very happy with it.

I have the WeCreat vision. It's my first laser and I love it. A larger bed would be nice, but I does 99% of what I need done. I've even used it to make jigs to hold key chains in place so I can engrave them.

I make cutting boards, and the question I have with these is can you use these laser engravers to do the juice grooves? Just wondering if I can use a laser engraver rather than a router.
@TheReformationWoodshop9 ай бұрын
Oh no you’d never get the depth you need and using a laser wouldn’t leave a clean cut like a router so you’d leave yourself open to getting bacteria in ever little pore that the engraving leaves.

@@TheReformationWoodshopthank you so much for the response, that was what I thought. I'll definitely stick with the router. Thanks again.

Maybe consider the xtool F1 Ultra. It can emboss metal and wood. It .oght be an all-around solution for you.

I have the M1 and F1 and totally love them both! The engraving on the F1 is super fast! I’m not disappointed in either of the machines I got. First time laser owner,5 months ago :) Love your insight on them all thanks!

what is your primary usecase for the m1? im thinking to buy the combo to. but im cant decide between the s1-p2- or m1
@gayleroy-zj2ic9 ай бұрын
@@-NOMROH- I cut wood and make ornaments and door signs. I also engrave with it but the F 1 is faster but small,perfect for key chains etc… I simply chose the M1 for the camera feature. Take a pic of a 12 in round and design the item right on top of the round in the xcs program,then remove the round and put the wood in take another pic and cut. I like to do that to make it fit perfect and I can design and see what it will look like. I have not tried the rotary yet but I will!! MDF is my fav wood to use,get it from a laser supply company

I've been debating getting the WeCreat or the Roly Lasermatic mk2. I hear Roly will be implementing autofocus sometime this year and WeCreat just made an announcement about some updated features so I'm going to wait a bit and see.

I don’t think you mentioned that the S1 has interchangeable laser modules. I bought mine with the 40w and the 2w Ir units right off the rip. I could eventually add the 20w and now they’ve even added a 10w I think.

I purchased the WeCreat vision, 40 W, and I am very happy with it. I do have to say that the air purifier was not the best so I did send that back, and we recently had our handyman install a vent through one of the walls, which worked out great. The customer service was great. They kept me apprised of everything and created a label to return the air purifier. Overall, I really like the user-friendly. I have the original X tool, the one and honestly I used it a total of three times.I would really appreciate if somebody can point me to a dummy’s class for Lightburn. I think I would get more out of the laser this way but overall I am really happy with the 40 W vision.

I originally ordered the S1 they sent M1 I was forced to keep the M1. Not thrilled but on wecreat it says there conveyer is compatible with 99% desktop lasers. Trying to find out if Wecreat conveyer would work with my M1?

I had initially purchased the WeCreate, but they did a bait and switch on the price and I canceled my order. I got the MI on sale, instead but haven't had time to set it up yet.

I know this is an older video but just wanted to point out that xTool S1 now has the same feature in their software as we create where you click on the material and a picture grid comes up where your can select what image you think looks best and the settings are automatically put into the software

I just got my S1 and love it. But I’m curious to see if you have the same issue I do with the riser base. When the door is closed there is a small gap that leaks laser light. To me this is very dangerous. I added the included foam strips that are theoretically supposed to block that off but it’s not perfect. I contacted xTool to see if they have any solution but basically there is no solution other than covering the gap with tape. To my knowledge, using the riser base at all makes the S1 a class 4 laser. Is that true? Or is it only a class 4 when I use the conveyor that requires the doors to be open. In that case it would make sense to be a class 4.

I don’t have any laser light leakage that I’ve seen. I might need to check now 🧐

I’d be curious to see if your machine has the same issue. Maybe mine has some type of an issue.
