I really like the pink flowers you fee handed on the bottom tier. I am going to make our cake and he wants 7 layers. I think he is slightly not thinking. But you used the dummy one and I had thought of that.

Beautiful cake! I travel with no problem with 2-3 tier buttercream cake in a well air conditioned SUV trunk (3 tiers only if it’s a small 3 tiers cake).

Beautiful execution Chyna! I travel with stacked cakes. If its taller than a 3 tiered cake, i will stack up to 3 tiers, then stack the rest on site.

First of all - he is so cute! Reminds me of my husband haha. Second, I do transport fully stacked. Either in a cake safe or I put my 1/2 central dowel into the board and superglue it (after drilling a hole just like you did). That way my cake is super sturdy on the board. I pack it into a box that is as wide as my cake board. Generally my cakes are taller than the box so in tape cellophane over it. Then in the car I “box” in the box so it can’t move and it’s on non-slip mats. Now the only downside here…the weight!! Wouldn’t be able to lift those 4-6 tiered cakes without him!

Beautiful cake Chyna! I love the design! I will travel with 3 tierred cakes with no problems..just drive slow and watch for bumps or holes in the roads. If taller, then will stack the rest of the tiers on site at the Venue. Keep it up girl! 😊🥰😍💗💞

That's one Gorgeous cake. I have a question please was that Buttercream all through the cake ? I live in a very hot country and if am to leave the cake like that until I get to a venue then I feel like the buttercream will start melting, how to do you keep your buttercream from not melting while you stacking at the site ?

Thank you. Yes, it is buttercream. I refrigerate my cakes before travel and I have my car air conditioning on full blast during the drive.

You can skip if you like. The center dowel adds more stability to the cake, so the tiers won’t slide.

I didn’t measure the temperature, but the cake was refrigerated prior to transport. The condensation will evaporate.

I've traveled with 4 and 3 tier cakes before for a little more then a100km trip and they arrived safely. Then one day I had a 4 tier wedding cake that had to travel the same amount km's only to find out that the road closer to the wedding venue was a gravel (none tar) road 😭. Worst day of my life... the cake collapsed.
