How terrible it is that before I even managed to watch this video, the main character of it, Patricia, that beautiful person with beautiful soul and angelic voice, is no longer among us. That really hit me harder than I would ever expect, expecially after all seemed to be okay. I got to meet Patricia in person in 2017 after a musical she sang in. I was the only one waiting at the staff entrance of the theatre. I waited for her for an hour, she emerged from the door with another actress, and I will never forget, how she was standing there, surprised, shy, but kinda happy someone wants her autograph. She must have been 19 at that time. I'm honored I could stand next to her, exchange couple sentences with her, praise her singing in person and look into those eyes for a second. I will never forget that. And that is how I'm gonna remember her. Rest in peace, Patricia. Thank you, may you sing with angels now.

I also was stunned by her passing, and very sad that the world has lost such a beautiful person, I feel as if I have lost a very close family member to this devastating disease. It hit me hard especially because I almost lost the love of life to breast cancer. I had loved this woman for , and though she and I were very close, she never seemed interested (possibly due to me being a combat vet with bad PTSD), but 18 years later, out of the blue, I had an urgent need to contact her, I didn't know WHY; just that I HAD to; called a old friend of hers , and she gave me her number, saying " she will be SO happy to hear from you,, she is so down right now and so sick from her breast cancer treatment. That was the first I knew of it. I contacted her and told her I was coming up there to see her, and on the plane trip from Hawaii I told one of the cabin crew why I was going up there, and that I was going to marry her-because she had nobody else in her life and that if I was only going to have a short time with her, we were This sweet lady told the plane captain about it, and he made an announcement on the planes P.A. about the issue, and I had a huge number of people come by my seat to wish her and I good luck and long life. That was 26 years ago, and she is doing fine(?), the interesting thing is that she at the time, was an RN who became motivated to become a and at 68, she is STILL at her job ❤helping people.

The thoughtfulness is heartbreaking. They were put up just a day or two before she died.

My father showed me Patricia's interpretation of "Les Oiseaux dans la Charmille" when I was 12. years old She was a total inspiration that helped me find the passion and strenght to follow my dreams of becoming an opera singer. She still does. She made it look easy, with her incredibly beautiful and agile voice rising in the air like pure crystal, achieving impossible feats, but she showed all the strenght, work and determination behind that incredibly trained voice too. I am so devastated to learn that she has left this world. You were the same age as my boyfriend, Patricia. May you rest in peace, in a place full of music and calmness. Though your body has left the Earth, who you were, your voice, recordings and actions will remain and change the course of the world with your influence in every soul you touched. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for existing.

She is best in her own natural way, loving people nature animals, horses, She likes Italy, Italian food, language, architecture music culture Rossini. etc. Her dream was having a horse which she did and singing with Andrea Bocelli. As Dr. Joe Dispenza says comparison and competition are the old way of thinking, especially in companies where the workers are taught to compete against each other and compare each other. He says It separates people from each other. Community and love puts people together.

Writing from the USA. This beautiful soul with a voice from God came on my phone as I was scrolling a couple days ago! I had never heard of Patricia before and was immediately captivated by her voice! Then I found every bit of information about her as I could and learning about her death was devastating. I have listened to every recording available and her voice was a gift from God! Such a full and beautiful life ahead of her and all taken by the horrible disease of cancer! Oh how the diagnosis must have frightened her and her family! I’m sure she went through so much fighting for her life! I haven’t been able to get her and her voice out of my mind and felt a need to comment how incredibly sorry I’m am that the world has lost her! Yes, I completely agree. One thing that I have gleaned from my own research into her life and musical legacy is that she was held in the very highest regard by those who knew her - not just as a great singer, but as a person. Fellow singers, musicians, composers, producers, fellow students, interviewers, make-up artists and of course her husband all seem to agree that she was beautiful both inside and out. Kind, modest, respectful, hard working, intelligent, inspirational… and of course courageous. The only sour note I ever discovered was that in an interview Patricia conceded that some of her fellow students in the conservatoire resented her success, and resented the fact that she got most of the best solo parts in conservatoire concerts. She said this in an interview as she prepared for her triumphant New Year’s concert in 2016, and I thought then that those jealous students would be even more jealous after the concert!

So glad she had this special day before she was gone, to love and be loved, and to make memories for all the people who were left behind after her tragic loss. I too am a Southeast Texan, and I too was devastated to hear of Maestra Janeckova's passing. Her repertoire included Mozart and Gershwin, two musical geniuses who, like Patricia, died while they were still young. For the first anniversary of her death, I would like to see a gala concert honoring her memory. For the centerpiece of such a concert, I would like to suggest the Dies Irae from Berlioz's REQUIEM, and for the finale, I wish to suggest Elgar's POMP AND CIRCUMSTANCE MARCH NO. 1 in D major.

Knew her since we were teenagers and while we didn't meet each other often anymore, we were always connected on an emotional level. The bond is the kind you'll experience once or maybe twice in a lifetime. Patricia was the kind of person who had the gift of connecting with someone on a level you didn't even know was possible. Can't listen to her songs anymore without crying. Not just tearing up, tears streaming down. It physically hurts to see or hear her again. The world has lost a unique and one the most talented singers ever. Those who knew her personally, have lost a unique person. Beautiful, both inside and out. Dear Patricia, thank you for your love and friendship. I will never forget you. I love you, my dear friend ;-(

i think patricia got married because she knew she was going to die!! if she died happily, it was no bad way to die but of course she left behind many devastated, heartbroken, sad people, for whom her death would have been so hard to accept, especially as she was only 25 & seemingly having the whole world ahead of her! it would be particularly sad ifher name just disappears like a leaf blown away by the wind! hopefully there are tributes in the way of a book, documentary, stage musical & film in the pipeline, maybe next year, when her death is not so raw! i'm sure a 30 song album on cd/dvd would not be hard to produce as many of her best songs can be found on 'you tube'! just an idea!

I just knew that she had gone. OMG I was so shocked. I just like KZbin surfing, then one day I don't know how, but I found her opera concerto video of like 2016 maybe, singing many varieties of songs, including her charming "cosplay" of automatic doll. Then I really liked to listen her opera songs everyday, until I stopped listening them for a while, no reason, just as my interests shift to other things and my busy working days continued. I once just checked her instagram, she had been fighting for cancer and it seemed getting better. Now on my "recommend" Patricia video showed again, then now, I watched this video and knew she' gone. Thank you, R.I.P beautiful singer, your voice will keep me relaxed and make me entertaining forever in my rest of my life.

Zakaždým videom ktoré pozriem v poslednéj dobe sa mi tisnú slzy do očí.Chýba mi jedinečná osoba a jej jedinečný dar,ktorý som ako jedinú divu počúvala.Zanechala nám tu predsa aspoň takto vo vzácnych videách seba,a vďaka tým ľuďom ktorí urobili záznamy a videá,že môžeme vzhliadnuť,počuť,spomýnať na tak vzácny slovenský klenot.Aspoň takto.Nestihla som koncert na živo,ale moje myšlienky budú patriť Patrícii a spomienky vždy. 🙏😇

Dear Patricia, I just found out about your leaving us two days ago. I've been thinking of you ever since. What a loss to the world! This news hit me so hard, I never even met you. I never mourned any person's that I did not know personally death. I am mourning yours. I fell in love with your voice a few years ago and often listen to and watch your performances on KZbin. I so wish I had a chance to hear you live in concert. What a treat that would be! I hope to meet you one day when my time comes - maybe you can sing "Pie Jesu" for me? It's my favourite.
