Great video dude, I'm thinking of getting the 24mm 1.8 as well? and I normally shoot with my 50mm on the other camera.

Yea I hate my 24…I marked the lens and there’s a weird flare with it, but using it makes me think more so that’s good so I’m trying to use it along with the 50 but the last wedding I did I had the 35/50 and enjoyed it more….tough because I don’t want to keep carrying a shoulder bag at weddings my back isn’t being thankful!

@@PearceWeddingPhotographyhi loving the feed of videos and tips ! I currently own a D800 with a 50mm f1.8 and a 70-210 f4 zoom. I only do the odd low cost wedding a year and don’t wish to spend much money on gear as I don’t have it honestly! I have been borrowing a friends Sony A6000 apsc mirrorless camera and I’m considering swapping my D800 for one. Am I crazy ? The D800 should be way better shouldn’t it ? I’d love your opinion Cheers Scott

I do love the ease of using the A6000, it makes shooting images a breeze, it shoots way faster than the D800, focus in good light is way faster but it’s not full frame ! What should I do ?

Errrrm well I haven’t used either. I’ve used the d810 though and the files were dreamy. If it’s EASIER and the results are the same or better then go for the a6000 if you’re not going for full time work

@@PearceWeddingPhotography of course the images are not as good technically but I feel the action of taking images is easier with the mirrorless due to face detect auto focus , 11 frames per second etc But I do love the image quality from the D800.
