19:00 just been to a wedding with 5000 people. it was a 5 day event, day 3 had 5000 while rest of the days were different, it was so long because he wanted to accommodate everyone so except some overlapping people (like me) every day had a different group of people and almost always in thousands and all events were in different venue's too. also the wedding invitation was literally an ornate box with all the details and the bottom had two permfumes, one scent for male and one for female.

I would really want a quaint, intimate wedding as a SEA guy. I've been to alot of weddings with 300 or more people and it's a nightmare. My mates, my wife's mate, relatives, and family like 70 people is more than enough for me.

Had the same experience with my relatives and siblings. But I would rather get my closest relatives and mates only and spend the remaining for the future. Especially since my future wife wants at least two kids which would cost us now a fortune.

Good luck Garnt, best wishes to you both. One thing I would say is be prepared to be exhausted. Don't get me wrong, it's the best day of your life but going round thanking everyone is surprisingly tiring and time consuming. We had about a 100 and like you said, it's like spending 5 mins with everyone and not getting to enjoy the moments that aren't prescripted (like your vows and your first dance etc) Don't forget to make time for each other on the big day- you'd think it'd be easy but it's not the case lol.

As an Indian I can confirm that 1000 people are on the low end (I have personally attended a 4500 people strong wedding). Also it last for at least 3 days.

@@leo6659 well usually those weddings with 4500 people are hosted in rural villages where everyone know each other (and thus virtually the whole village shows up in it). And Indian weddings are more like a small fair of sorts, the difference being free food from buffet and lack of rides. The weddings are usually held in open grounds which may or may not be attached with a hotel and since these type of mega weddings are usually in villages, things costs less.

For Connors interest in Elden Rings world building. I also think it has to do with how it is told, because it isn't told directly it is instead experience though the gameplay in a much more organic way. As such a person like Connor who loves gameplay, it is probably much better because the gameplay isn't paused to tell you about the world, it just happens.
