1:00 I love the reference to the original Orpheus myth with the bending trees, in the original when Orpheus sang his song the trees bent to listen and when he was in the underworld the tree that Tantalus was imprisoned under bent low enough for Tantalus to finally reach the fruit (the fruit that he could never reach as part of his punishment) but tantalus didn’t even notice because he was so enamoured with Orpheus song

Everytime the camera goes to Orpheus and he's like :] it gives me life. But seriously this is so good!! I love how each frame can tell a lot without going crazy on the drawings, that's super key for efficiency. I really admire the animatics you've made and really enjoy watching them.

I’m really impressed with the dynamic they created with Orpheus and Eurydice, especially given that there was very little in the original myth. I like how while Orpheus is the talented idealistic musician, Eurydice is a bit more hardened and critical of the world and because of hard times often struggles to see the beauty in it. Meanwhile Orpheus provides a lot of light and hope, but isn’t often realistic and is pretty weak and naive at times. But of course together they can Learn from each other, help each other, and grow as people, and thus makes the tragedy hit harder when sadly the love and potential is taken away from them despite how hard they try to make it work

I like when the story shifts to Orpheus’s fantasy world, the color changes to white, which is the color of innocence and purity. I don’t know if you intended that, but it’s a really cool detail

Most likely to be manipulated but then there's she She is honest, realistic, practical and passed through a lot of things. An old and sad soul who doesn't trust anyone at all, always ready to leave But together they compliment each other, he puts the positivity and dreams in her head and she helps the dream come true I love that dynamic They are like Pisces and Virgo 🥰🥰🥰

I have art questions!!! To sealbatross and anyone else! First question, do you use Clip Studio Paint? [EX] Questions if you use its animation software: 2. How do you fix clip studios preview glitch, like how it skips over some frames or lags the tweening? Right now my very annoying work around is downloading what I have of the animation file and looking at the errors I have in Files before having to go delete the download and fix it in CSP. 3. How can you change the canvas size of individual frames? [I also have a complex annoying way to deal with this, just want to know if there's an easier way] 4. Any animation software's you recommend instead of CSP? Especially since CSP's original use was to make comics and not animations ;v

Yup I use csp ex! 2. I change playback mode to render all before playback and prefer speed. Once I add camera movements to a lot of parts I don’t use render all before playback (since every camera move is a frame). Sometimes creating a new window clears up the preview problem for a little bit if you need something quick. 3. Never tried I would be curious too 4. Tahoma2d is free and pretty good if you’re into using vectors and not the painterly stuff. Animate cc and I had a good run but too expensive for me. I actually really like csp for animation, though given I haven’t animated much haha.. it has a two legs up on Krita with camera movements and a nice interface
