I feel like my mother had a positive version of The Notebook. My mother fell in love in 1955 at the age of 15. Both sets of parents were concerned about how attached they were to each other and forced them to break up. Her family moved away and they grew up. Both of them had marriages and children and lived a very long life. Neither of them forgot about the other. I heard stories about this boyfriend and all the fun they had together on marching band trips, sock hop dances, soda fountains, and juke box dancing at the burger place. Fast forward to 2010. Shortly after my step-dad passed away they were reunited through some friends they had in common online. After 55 years they were still madly in love. They were in their late 60s. They were married two years later in 2012. He had become wealthy. He paid off all of her debts and took her traveling across the world. They enjoyed the volcanos in Hawaii and the shows in Branson. They had 5 wonderful years together until Alzheimer's disease took her from us. Her memories faded and we all told her the stories of her youth over and over for her to enjoy. He held her and loved on her as she faded away. I've never seen such a strong man like that cry. But cry we all did. We held her hands as she took her last breath in August of 2019 just one week shy of her 79th birthday. I still call him about once a month. He gives wonderful fatherly advice. They are the true Notebook story to me. She is my keto "why".

You guys make me laugh. My first marriage was “notebook love”. It was toxic. It lasted 18 years probably about 17 more than it should have. LOL my second marriage was everything. Compassionate, passionate, honest, loyal. Everything you want in a marriage. The way you talk about each other was exactly how we felt about each other.I feel like my life didn’t start until I was about 42 when I met Mikey. Bless his heart, he passed away five years ago. I’m so grateful I had that time with him and experience what real love was

I just want to say how inspiring you too are. You both remind me of my husband and I's relationship and marriage. I met my husband when I was 13. I told my best friend at the time: "I am going to marry that man someday." She didn't believe me because of our age gap. I was 13 at the time and he was 20. I didn't see him for two years, he was a friend of my older sister. So when I turned 15 he entered my life again as if it was fait. However, It was not fait, it was true pre-destined timing of God's plan for us to be together. Fast forward to today. We have two wonderful kids, we have been married for 31 1/2 years and are currently empty nesters having the best time of our lives with each other. We don't ever fight, we have such a great relationship that we really do know what each other is thinking and will say before we say it. We too had our rough time in the beginning, every couple does. I married my husband when I was 16. Some say I don't know what I was doing because I was too young, but I did know and my husband knew we were meant to be together by the Grace of God. We are still so happily married today and I don't see an end to our marriage except by God taking one of us home. So God Bless your guys' marriage that you may flourish and grow in both in your relationship of love and compassion for one another as you grow stronger in love. God Bless you both as he strengthens your marriage and love for one another. .

Most of the time people tend to mistake lust and being content with someone as true love. It’s very hard to understand that when you are young. I think some people need to finish growing and have life experiences before you know who is truly right for you. Y’all’s story sounds a lot like my husband and myself. I know that having God in our life has also strengthened and made our relationship better.

( 23:57 ) "Women are like onions. Not only do they make you cry but they have many layers... " If you made friends with any country music songwriters while you lived in Nashville you have to share that with them to see if they can get a song from it. My wife has never shared my appreciation for country music. Very often when we're hearing or having a discussion about some random subject I tease her by saying "There's a country song about that." And there always really is, as unbelievable as it sometimes seems at the time. But, if there is one that says anything comparing women and onions, I haven't heard it.

Firstly thank you both for sharing its not easy to discuss private information! Especially publicly ☺️ Yes guys it’s a process of learning about your own individual body and you can’t compare that to anyone including your partner. To be honest your age gap doesn’t mean anything because you both look good together anyway. Its about how two human souls resonate and I can see there is huge resonance with the both of you. What appeals to me about Dr Berry and Neisha is you are both REAL. Just in this video alone it is authentic and you’re sharing very personal details with the public. No relationship is perfect but, speaking openly and doing that publicly tells me you guys have a really healthy one. You made me emotional Dr Berry 😅🥲☺️ The wedding is more meaningful when it’s not about the thousands of dollars you spend on it! Yes I have known lots of couples that have done that.

Beautiful advice. We've been married 4 years and I think we following a lot of this same pattern in our marriage. Blessings to you both!
