I've never understood how some people can't figure out their income. All you have to do is look at a bank statement. It even gives a total of deposits. Why people put down their gross income and then (or not) try to figure out their tax rate is beyond me. Yes, the tax schedules are weighted so that you owe the gov't, it being cheaper for the feds to collect than to issue refunds, but you won't owe a lot, and you can always ask your employer to deduct a little extra each pay.

Wow, this is tough to watch. The impact of credit card debt on mental health is so real, and it’s heartbreaking to see people feel trapped. It’s easy to think they’re to blame for their spending habits, but I wonder if the financial industry has a role too. With high-interest rates, hidden fees, and relentless credit line offers, it feels like a trap set for those struggling to get by. Financial literacy and fair practices could make a huge difference in helping people manage money without so much risk!
