The card polish worked best for me as well. I cleaned some of these a month of so ago.

I looked all the way back to the beginning but I don't think you've tackled this one yet. A lot of sets in the 1980's were stored vertically in pages in binders. I've run into some very heavy top edge dirt on cards 1,2,3 10,11,12 and so on. It's more prevalent toward the front of the set. 1986-87 or 1987-88 Fleer Kareem Abdul Jabbar #1 are harder to find clean and that thin white card stock just sucks up filth, especially on the 87s. Have you experimented on this yet? Would a soak help pull some of that edge dirt out?

@@boda1254 I totally understand what you’re saying. I will get Card spray on a cotton applicator and gently tap the area a couple times. I’ll do this several times and usually it will help out.

I have a card from the 70s that is really valuable. Perfectly centered. Corners are mint. Surface is great. Somehow all of a sudden there's a small what looks to be a water stain in the corner now. Not super visible but if i grade it they will Def see it. Is there anything I can do to get rid of that?
