For the play at 1:27:20 where Jackson played the ST-15 Thatch, I'm pretty sure nothing would happen for the On Play if the leader does not include "Whitebeard Pirates". Its wording is the same as OP-02 New Kama Land in saying "If you leader meets X condition, do Y effect. Then do Z effect". The ruling is if you don't meet X condition, then you do not do Y nor Z effects

Vegapunk Triggers are so Annoying. I have started running 2 Kaido because of Enel, Bonney, and Vegapunk. Watching to literally see Jackson play style against this deck.

The triggers are 95% of the reason why Doffy vs Vegapunk is such an uphill battle - every time you take life, they either develop another body or blocker, remove one of your bodies, or stop one of your units from swinging. Being able to go tall helps against most of these but doesn't really get round Shaka triggers. I think that at least into Vegapunk 9c Mihawk is a great card because bottom decking circumvents the ability to recycle bodies from trash while also developing a free 9k each turn
