Just a fun lil update a few days later: have had a few sightings of the lad and he appears to be doing just fine. They do a weird dance at night and both disappear without a trace during the day. I am checking them every few hours because I am a giddy child

I love your enthusiasm for the crystals. I have quite a collection and have used several in my enclosures. I did check to ensure they were safe to use beforehand. I’m a new tarantula owner and your videos inspired me to take the plunge. I currently have 8 and all are doing well. Had them for 2 1/2 months and had my first molt last week. That was nerve racking!! I am so fascinated with the Velvet spiders and may add one to my collection in the future. OMG he is adorable! Praying for beautiful babies. I really enjoy your Vevets and jumping spider projects. I am now also thoroughly in love with gumbo. I was raised in the country mostly up in the northwest of the United States and I spent many an hour checking out the creeks and catching crawdads and other small wildlife. I call it Creek mucking. I am now a kind of fluffy kind of sassy old broad now and since I can't get out to do any quick muckin I do thoroughly enjoy being able to watch videos of Critters I used to look. Due to being raised with three very mischievous younger brothers I developed a Terror bugs of all kinds but especially spiders. All spiders. But one day I came across a video from the dark den and became fascinated with tarantulas. Which led me to other sites such as Dave's little beasties, the tarantula Collective, and you. You are all wonderful in your own ways and your love for your Hobby comes through strongly. Little beasties have to be my favorite because his knowledge and experience with tarantulas is phenomenal I recommend every tarantula hobbyist to check him out, they will learn a lot. I know, I know I'm a bit on the wordy side a fluffy, kind of sassy old broad you can be as worthy as you want to be😊 and lastly I am loving the color of your hair. Especially on top is that your natural color? Well whether it's natural or not it is gorgeous on you❤ gorgeous on you beautiful

I’ve just had a successful sack of these! What’s awesome about Gandanameno is unlike other species of eresidae (eresus, stegodyphus) the babies don’t eat the mum and can produce a lot of sacks! Hopefully you’ll have a lot of mini Wednesdays about! Good luck👀

Another good vlog, I'm just still catching up on your you tube videos (from over here in England U.K.) With me being interested in snakes and watching the Viper keeper's channel and my recent viewing of a video of the Brazilian Wandering Spider (not cuddly as a plushy or would like a wander across you hand though-but a beautiful-if not aggressive spider all the same) is why I probably got a recommendation to your channel! Loved the video. Looking forward to, hopefully, seeing velvet babies. I joke with my bf that you''re a "bad" influence on me lol. I've always been the odd one that loves spiders and scorpions, but since I've found your channel, you've refueled my passion at bit as a fellow arachnid enthusiast lol and you've also introduced me to new species I would like to add to my growing collection. In the beginning my bf was adamant about no spiders at all as he absolutely hates spiders. Now I have had and still have several jumping spiders of varying species, wolf spiders, crab spiders, a western black widow spider, a trapdoor spider, and have 3 scorpions. I want a velvet spider, but sadly, they're out of my price range at the moment and I've had to make some compromises. The main one being no tarantulas. As always, awesome video.

I love his patterning. The first stone you held up looks like a feldspar to me, so maybe a sunstone? Or a light red calcite? Pretty nonetheless. I LOVE the Hematitequartz flame, such a juicy red! And I think the skull is fluorite.

I live in Australia we have a spider we call the black house spider also know as a window spider ( depending where in Australia people live) these spiders look very similar to what you call a velvet spider.. do you know if they could be the same family? Make sure u never order from marys lil monsters or the lady Mary lee cause ur t won't end up alive or in proper packaging either mime got sent in a random box wrapped in bubble wrap no heat packs no insulation to at least keep him somewhat warm and she even admitted having the proper packaging and heat packs now thats sad af yet the lady claims to care about her animals
