Our company dumped DJI and bought the Weebill S, and then the Weebill 2. Weebill 2 is now the main go to for all our media associates. We ordered 8 of them. After using the Weebill 2 for a while, our guys found the gimbal to really outperform the DJI in many ways. Our payloads are similar. A7III's in full cages with GM 16 35 lenses, or the 20mm G 1.8. Perhaps it is a very good thing that there is no QR option. This basically ensures that the gimbal and payload will have to balanced each time for a lens swap, or even removal of a lens cap. So many users claimed their gimbal was balanced, and our shooters did as well. Weebill 2 has the real time display motor feedback which shows otherwise, and our guys became better at balancing using that screen feedback. The next thing that did was to indicate their own physical movements were contributing to any motor being overworked, which often resulted in unstable footage. Weebill 2 has been a clear winner.

Excellent ! All the info that is really needed in a concise manner without any faffing about and yet somehow, you still manage to be entertaining. Great shots too! Are the batteries built in permanently meaning that if they fail, the entire Gimbal will have to be replaced or can they be accessed some way?
@vistek3 жыл бұрын
This is a great question. I honestly don't know the answer. My suspicion is that you would have to send it back to Zhiyun for replacement. It's definitely a trade off for the convenience.

I used an Anker product for charging and realized it did not live up to expectation, so I decided to use my iPhone 11 max pro charger (USB-C) to charge it. This does the job for me.. Hope this help.

I’m interested in how well that transmitter 2.0 works. I tried using my crane 3s on a cable cam with the 1.0 transmitter on a recent live stream concert and it absolutely FUCKED me. Worked perfect the night before. Day of the show it wouldn’t communicate at all and it wasn’t even a packed house. In fact there were barely more cell phones at the show than would be present on a normal film set, so Idk what was causing all this interference
@vistek3 жыл бұрын
Well, it worked great for me. Zero complaints. Buuuuut. I was never far from the receiver and there wasn't much interference. If I was doing a demanding commercial job or in a place with a lot of potential interference then I would be using a Teradek unit, and not relying on a Zhiyun transmitter. You simply can't expect a transmitter that costs a couple hundred dollars to operate like one that costs a couple thousand. They're made for very different markets/users.

@vistek3 жыл бұрын
Hi BP. I did toy with the idea, but the reality is gimbal footage looks like gimbal footage. It's not such a revolutionary product that changes the gimbal game. It's about it being easier to use - but the footage is no more or less stable than what you're already used to seeing. I get that it feels like there is a need to satiate curiosity - but I decided that it was completely unnecessary information. Plus, if anyone is genuinely interested in this gimbal, I should hope that they watch more than one review video. I'm certain that other videos will show the footage.
@bestplayever79873 жыл бұрын
@@vistek thanks for taking the time to reply and the info.. my knowledge of gimbals is limited so all footage especially knowing what camera/lens is being used seems useful to me. you might want to include it in future to save lazy people like me having to watch two videos haha.

Hi Lo. Sorry to hear that you had trouble with your 850. The camera should work great on this gimbal. I suspect your motor settings were not set up to match the weight of your camera. I would recommend trying to change those settings. I am certain that it should alleviate the issue.

@vistek3 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't go so far to say that. One thing is, that the retail version will have better battery performance. They told me that when I mentioned my experience. The other thing is that the gimbal charges very fast (in about 1.5 hrs from empty to full), so you could easily get it juiced up when not operating.
@philpritchard87723 жыл бұрын
@@vistek ahhh that’s good to hear !
@derpcon42123 жыл бұрын
I will also add that, although kinda clunky in concept, you can plug the gimbal into a battery bank and last as long as needed. For people complaining about the battery life for weddings tho, I'm really curious how they're getting their CAMERAS to last the whole wedding. Like seriously I need to know so I can do it too haha
