Thank you for the video @Peter Makholm. I just got Weebill S with the transmission kit. I'm new to gimbals and when trying to balance the camera with the transmission attached I can get the camera and transmission device balance on the plate plane but when trying to balance the camera with the transmission when the lens is facing upwards it doesn't balance, always fall forwards then when you do manage to balance it with the lens facing upwards then the first balance (plate plane) no longer balance, do we need to balance that axis? Also you talked about plugging in the external monitor to the gimbal, which port on the gimbal is for the monitor?

Hi. There are four balance points. Starting from the bottom Pan axis ( sideways) Tilt axis (sideways) roll axis ( up and down), it is on the ROOL AXIS, you have the base plate mounted to the camera. There are two adjustment points here. First, lock the pan and tilt axis, so you only have the roll axis to work on. Slide the baseplate with the camera on and adjust until you have balance. If the camera doesn't balance when pointing it up. ( it rolls forward again) You have to adjust the height of the roll axis arm. Loosen the screw with the small handle in the front and lift the whole arm till you get it to balance. You might have to go back and adjust the base plate a bit to get a perfect balance. I hope this will get your gimbal balanced.

Hello Peter, is it possible to have with the GH5 the “wireless transmission” connected to iPhone plus a monitor “SmallHD FOCUS 5” setup and get a picture from the camera parallel to both devices? Walter Zeller hi Walter. Yes it is possible to run multiple monitors at once. But you will need the wireless receiver on the small HD. Then you can both monitor and iPhone at the same time. If you want to connect with cable, just plug the hdmi in to the camera.

Hi. Thanks for the great video. It was a lot of help. How did you attach the AgimbalGear to the weebill? The connection with the two screws is too big. And the screw on the tripod is too short to connect it to the AgimbalGear and gimbal

Hi, I did not have any issues wiht it, i screw the tripod to hte buttom of the L gimbal gear grip and added a zhiyun quick setup plate on top be able to take it off the gimbal fast. If it does not fit on your gimbal you shoud send i back.

Hello Peter, thank you for the great video. Question: Is it possible to touch the phone monitor to get focus. Same as touching the GH5 monitor. Also is in the MF mode the AF icon available on the phone monitor, again same as showing on the GH5 monitor.

Walter Zeller thanks. No it is not possible to do touch focus on the phone monitor. You will have to use the zoom function on the phone but it is hard to nail perfect focus. I would rather ad the follow focus motor and use the wheel.

Dato Aliff Alex have you paired the transmitter & receiver. If not, do this by connecting them by the USB micro cable. On the receiver press on button 5 times. It will blink. Press on button on transmitter 5 times. It will blink. Wait until both are solid green. They are paired.

I don't know it I should buy this complete system (that seems to be fa fantastic) or buy a hollyland 300 pro with a moza iFocus for monitoring and pulling focus. What do you think?

I would beleive that you can put a CANON SL3 on and it will ba able to hande the weigh. But the height might be an issue for underslung mode. you have to test this at a delaer. The follow focus works great. and if you use the rubber bands it will work with any camera. The transmission system is a stand alone product, so if your camera has hdmi output, you should be able to transmit to you phone

Automation Professionals I would still get the gimbal grip. This one is a bit closer to the gimbal so i can reach the follow focus wheel with my finger, if needed. I haven't used the transmission that much. When the transmission handle will come I will do some more testing. I will not use my phone as a monitor, I prefer a real monitor.

Thanks Peter, For your great videos. I can connect the transmission to the phone, but it says there is no Wi Fi connection. I don't want to use my home Wi Fi because what about out in the field. Dear Peter, I hope you are well. Following your instructions, I have the Weebill S set up with the transmission system in place. There is connectivity on my phone, everything seems to work O. K. BUT, when I tap the lower left (on my phone screen) symbol to start the follow mode (which was the main reason I got the transmission system), then draw a rectangle around my face (or any object), the gimbal then goes haywire and the camera spins around then stops upside down. You can control the movement with your phone when connected. Then you can active track a subject. But as soon as I get a new unit I will post a on this topic.

Hi. I would not trust the wireless system on a shoot. It sometimes shuts down. I would always go with an external monitor.

Great Video i watched almost all of your Weebill S videos, they were a huge help for me. :) Just do you know if there is an option to connect your camera to a monitor with HDMI cable and then from the monitor HDMI out port to connect the image transmitter? I use a gh5 with small hd focus. Try to connect the monitor to your camera without connecting the gimbal to the camera. It should work.

Hi, if I need to pull focus during a recording, I use the follow focus motor. But mostly, I set my focus point manual before I start recording and hold the same distance to my subject or talent.

Q/R couplings are disappointing since they don't use the locking pins to prevent loosening on the underslung position. I'm not seeing that the transmission app is worth the transmitter's price and hassle. I can use the Panasonic Image App or Nikon's Snapbridge and use the gimbal's controls to use my phone as a monitor.

Yeah, I have no idear why they haven made the holes for the pins. I don't think the wireless system is worth the money. I am not using it. I only use a small hd monitor. You can connect the gimbal with you camera and by cable and adjust the settings from the gimbal, but not transmit an image to your phone wihtout the wireless system.

Eli Hi Eli. No it is only compatible with the weebill lab. If you want to use it for the weebill lab, you can use it to transmit the image from your camera to your phone, and nothing else.

New Era Sports Media the transmitter is made for the weebill S. But it is an individual unit so you should be able to use it with any gimbal if you can get mounted on there.

Her Soul Vacation thanks. No the transmitter is only so you can transmit the image from your camera to your phone or with the receiver to an external monitor. You can control the gimbal in the app without the transmitter.

@@PeterMakholm Yes, I know I can control the gimbal with the app. But I bought the transmitter so I can not only control the gimbal with the app through my phone but also so I can SEE what's being transmitted on my phone. I have bought 3 HDMI cables and none of them work. The instructions don't specify what type of input is in the transmitter but I 'suppose' is a mini as a regular HDMI is too big. I have the Sony 6400 that has a micro HDMI input so I guess I need to buy a mini HDMI to micro HDMI. This is so frustrating to me as I've wasted time with such a small thing. I looked for a link of yours but didn't find any. What type of HDMI is the one you are showing here. Also, as a newbie I don't understand the difference between the transmitter and the receiver. It seems self explanatory but... IDK maybe I'm just frustrated.

I will leave the link here amzn.to/33Zd3GX Both the transmitter and receiver have HDMI mini ports. Most monitors have a full HDMI port, so you probably need an HDMI mini to HDMI full for the monitor. amzn.to/2PoJR71 The transmitter is the one you put on the gimbal and connect to the camera to (transmit the image from the camera). The receiver is the one you connect to an external monitor to (receive the image for the camera). Hopefully, you find this useful.

Hello Peter, here one more question regarding having a “SmallHD FOCUS 5” + “wireless transmission” installed to the GH5 parallel. If I want to connect the “SmallHD FOCUS 5” directly by HTMI cable to the GH5, is it then still possible to have the “wireless transmission” "ZIHYUN Transmount" connected to the GH5? As the "ZIHYUN Transmount" needs also a HTMI connection to the GH5. What I want is, to have the “SmallHD FOCUS 5” directly on the GH5 and away from the GH5 a iPhone or iPad connected wireless via “wireless transmission” "ZIHYUN Transmount. Any way to make that possible? Thank you in advance for your hint.

Walter Zeller Thanks, to do this you would have to connect the wireless transmitter to the monitor and get the HDMI signal from there, but there is not an HDMI out on the small HD focus. So it is not possible.

how do you get the image from the gimbal to the monitor???

I use the cable for the monitor on my gimbal. the monitor I have on in this video is broken, therefore i did not attatch a cable. If you want wirless transmision to a monitor you need the wireless transmission reciver.

It is useable when connected to the iPhone, but if you want to use the receiver to a monitor, it is slow.
