Why are people still repeating this "The Gap" thing ? Fans made a mistranslated english load word in Japanese like it's some weird concept or thing the band made up or whatever. "The Gap" just means contrast in Japanese, it's not that deep.

The Non-Fiction Days use to be their go-to closer. When the song ended, the Maids would give Miku her few seconds to say goodbye, bow, and then all quickly walk off stage. The crowd felt like they'd been run over by a speeding freight train of awesomeness. It all felt so good and the fans wanted more! But they were leaving... until next time!

Does Kanami play the flanger part live, or is it on a track? I'm very much a beginner guitarist, but when I've seen videos of them playing it live, it looks like she's playing the rhythm along with Miku, or maybe a different riff.

@@Metal_Auditor If you mean her single string picking part at the intro and outro... it's duped on the backing track for their lives. Good luck with your guitar playing! It's all about putting in the practice time, lessons, jamming, gigs, and recording as much as possible. Do that and you'll see improvement quickly, and that's important. Also, experiment with your setup and sound so you get real time feedback that feels right. Talk with other guitarists. But I think getting your own unique sound out of your equipment is important. Or at least know what it can do.

I saw them live in Los Angeles in 2019 right before Covid hit and it was an amazing time. And they’ve only gotten better since then. They play and mix different genres into their music and their versatility and virtuosity distinguishes themselves from the other bands out there. They have pretty much put an album out every year of their existence, which comes out to over 100 songs of awesomeness. Their last album Unseen World is their latest masterpiece, as well as their last single Sense, with their B-Side of Hibana and Coralium. With reacting to them, live is the way to go for a majority because they are just spectacular performing live. Most people recommend Domination, Thrill, and Freedom to start. So I’ll recommend some of my favorites like Manners/Black Hole, No God, Daydreaming and Bubble.

It's no Palm Springs. It was filmed on a windy cold early spring day at the beach in Japan. Maids were frozen and say that this filming was one of the toughest they have ever experienced so far. Btw, you guys have completely fallen into the trap set by the clever little pigeon, Miku (band founder/rhythm guitar/support vocal/lyricist/spokespigeon). She wanted to form a band which has a huge difference between what you see (cute maid outfits) and what you hear (hard rock sound). Band-Maid has 110+ good songs and no bad one.
