You can adjust the height of the bar. So you set it just a little bit higher than your crop.

Oobree all I can say is WOW 😳!!! I have never seen anything like that before that is some serious voltage!! Here in South Central Ky I have seen weed wipes where it wicks a herbicide on the weeds. How much voltage is it putting out?
