Fans with brains understand that all teams have injuries and well run, well coached teams overcome it. Belichick overcame injuries all the time. They won SBs with Gronk missing the playoffs. There are about 700 starting players in the NFL who are the best in the country, who are of comparable ability. The differences are how well they develop their skills. This is why Bill valued versatility so much. It takes a lot of learning and practice and coaches are a very large part in the process.

After Caserio left, Kraft installed his collaborative scouting dept including Wolf and Groh. They have been very important in scouting and drafting as Caserio was before them. Caserio did a good job, can't say the same for Wolf and Groh. And since Bill didn't want Jones and Kraft vetoed Bill trying to trade him later, we know that Belichick hasn't had total control over the roster since 2021. This is a known fact no matter how much Kraft's media shills keep lying. Why do they think that lying more is somehow going to make this better?
