Week 12: Psychology of cricket: Teamwork

Who doesn't want to be the champion team? Dominate the competition for years? But what makes the team perform consistently for years? Players? Coaches? Ummm, to some extend, yes. But not entirely true. We have seen that once the star players on the team or coaches retire, the team's performance starts going down. Then what is it? Well, it's Team Work. Now when I say team, what comes to your mind? The players playing together as a team, right? That's just half a unit of the team. A team is not just made up of the playing unit; there's more to it. Hence only the playing unit is not responsible for the results achieved, but the other half is also equally important.
