In 2022, my fantasy championship week was massively impacted by Damar Hamlin's injury and the postponement of that game. And because the final week was going to be such a crapshoot with byes, the other manager and I decided to each chose 4 players from our roster to play in the final week for a championship match up. It ended up being pretty even. Neither of our best players were going to start, so we ended up starting some of our fringe guys. I could see this being a fun addition to a 2 week title game. Full teams play week 17, and then each team continues to Week 18 with 4-5 players for a smaller matchup to continue playing the final week.

Our league was saved by the fact that one guy had Josh Allen and Jamar Chase and the other guy had Joe Burrow and Stephon Diggs. They just called those four players a wash.

Yeah. We did a week 18 rematch. It's not like we couldn't have just said that the score was the score and that's fantasy. It was the fact that a dude dying on the field felt like a lame way to win. So the guy who had astronomically more points Conceded that they should do a rematch and he lost. The two guys decided before the rematch to split the prize money. Let the winner of the rematch have the glory in the record books. Ironically, sleeper wouldn't let us change it and so the other guy shows up in the record books. But everyone in our league knows who won that year.

In my league a guy needed 13 points from mixon that game. He conceded the prize money cause his opponent was planning a wedding so he considered it a wedding gift

I made it to the finals in a huge underdog fantasy best ball draft. I had josh allen and devin Singletary. That game potentially cost me 1 million dollars. Came out of it with 2500.

As a fellow man of a certain age, I've been dealing with that in-between stage of hair loss. I've embraced it and will now go for a full George Jefferson look. Think of an African American Gallagher. You gotta ditch the hat and own it. Or go to Turkey and get the transplant, haha. Also, know that your colleagues may be there at some point, so don't let them razz you too much. I made that mistake with my group of guy friends, and at the age of 41, I am now sitting right there with them! Love the show, guys.

Two week matchups is what causes people to play in week 18 or week 14 when there are bye weeks. You can subtract games from your season and hold your playoffs in weeks 15, 16 & 17. I had a guy argue with me vehemently that having a two week rounds in the playoffs was "fairer" even though you had to play in either week 14 or week 18.

Probably Bowers. Nabers and Daniels were both great, but it’ll be much easier to find a replacement WR1 or QB1. Bowers is leaps and bounds above other tight ends and would be tougher to replace.

The least shocking thing ever is the Vikings negativity from this group. All season long, from predraft about Jettas being irrelevant to week after week refusing to acknowledge Addison value, never mentioned the spot start ability of nailer, and teams using a Sam darnold jayden Daniels combo make it to championships yet the respect never ever came. From weekly picks against the Vikings to preseason belief in the under 6.5 from Vegas to the way you all picked us for last in the division.
