Whoa! Mark's breathing! Maybe that's why your kicks are getting more awesome-er! I can see a lot of progress between the previous video and this one: your overall flexibility is improving, more intensity in your movements (with caution when necessary) & it always makes it better when working out with a buddy. Have a great workout today! Jiayou!!!!

haha. Thanks. the progress -- even a little bit -- is nice to see. I can't wait to see what my Week 14 video is going to look like! :-D I'm glad it looks like my flexibility is improving. I'm feeling stiffer for some reason, but maybe that's because of how swoll i'm becoming. lol! ;-)

Your consistency and dedication are so inspiring! Nice to see you training with a friend 😁 PS: I want to see your bike!

Thank you! It is inspiring to me too! lol. And yes, I'll try to show more of my bike when the weather permits. I had to change the oil so I didn't take it out for a while, but as long as the weather is nice I will go for some more rides when I have time, and I will try to capture some footage and show the bike. It is a 2019 Honda SuperCub 125. A really fun bike to ride. :-)

Yes! Me too! hahaha. I didn't realize how much I missed training with other people until I finally trained with other people. :-) It really makes a difference.

Yes!! Kicks looking so so much better! This is awesome. And those wulong panda! Keep it up mark!! We're all cheering you on! Bummer that there are still nagging physical discomforts :( what do you expect to happen as you keep training? Will they likely persist throughout the year, or do you expect them to decrease intensity/frequency? Also I love the footage from your bike - what a beautiful place to live. It's very calming to watch!

Thanks! I appreciate the support! :-) The physical issues have been around a while and it will take quite a bit of time and work (and overcoming laziness) on my part to get through them. It is partially the result of bad life choices, a sedentary lifestyle for so many years (decades), and a poor range of motion. Coupled with the body fat means that my body is primed for lots of chronic mobility and inflammatory challenges. It is the deep hole I've made for myself and in order to climb out of it I will have to keep being consistent with my training -- especially with my "strengthening through lengthening" work to build up the foundation and work on some preventative bulletproofing of the body. So ... long story short ... there is only a long story ahead of me. lol.

@@WushuAdventures Mark, my suspicion is that you're much too hard on yourself, I have a hard time believing you are as lazy as you think ;) Many of the smartest and most motivated people I know (friends, coworkers) call themselves lazy, especially in about physical fitness. I guess I see many health issues as an unfortunate but unavoidable externality of a person investing time/energy in all the other things the want/need to do in life. Plus, if a person decides to live a sedentary lifestyle, for whatever reason, that doesn't mean they deserve pain on a daily basis! Just my perspective haha. Anyway. I think you're still knocking it out of the park. Or in the park. If that's where you're training all this time hahaha jiayou!!

The casualness with which you claim a rib is out of place terrifies me. o.o That sounds very scary
@WushuAdventures2 жыл бұрын
It sounds worse than it is. The rips are pretty pliable, and mine have a tendency to slip out of place. It is sort of like having a trick knee, I guess? I need to strengthen my core and back muscles more so that they provide better stability. It usually happens in my sleep. Losing some fat will probably also help me get through that. When I'm thinner it doesn't happen as much. The Saturday training helped. Through all that movement and motion it went back into place and by the end of the day the soreness was mostly gone. The worst thing I can do is nothing. If I don't move then it doesn't have the opportunity to correct itself and then I have to go see a chiropractor to get an adjustment.
