I could’ve been winning by a whole hell of a lot more if I wouldn’t have started Jordan Love over Jalen Hurts AND had Amari Cooper in my lineup as well.. So cooper got me a 0 in my league and Mason got me 1 point… My record this year in my home league the one I care the most about, is probably going to be 1-6-1 now.. For that zero RB segment, that's why you draft best player available and don't box yourself in to only drafting a specific position. You let the draft come to you, you don't make up your mind before you even know which players fall to you. This is why value based drafting projections are so important each year. They give you a good idea on how to compare players from different positions and know when to take each position. I'm 6-1 at the moment (6-2 unless Nabers and Najee get me 38 points tonight), and I drafted pretty well using value based drafting (see below). In general, people reach on WR/TE/QB and undervalue RB every year. 10-man Half PPR + 3 WR's started - My team this year (1st pick overall) 1. Bijan Robinson 2. Isaiah Pacheco - on IR spot now (added Alexander Mattison) 3. James Cook 4. Deebo Samuel 5. Malik Nabers 6. Tee Higgins 7. Mark Andrews - dropped to use bowers (added Tyler Lockett) 8. Najee Harris 9. Jonathan Brooks - taking longer than I hoped to return. 10. Brian Thomas Jr. 11. Jordan Love - dropped after week 1 to stream (Bo Nix/Geno/etc). 12. Tyler Allgeier - Bijan Handcuff. 13. Khalil Shakir - dropped for Keon Coleman. 14. Brock Bowers

@@AdamLovesHorror We have a few noobs in our league, but most of us have been doing fantasy for 10 years+. Bowers was outside the top 10 Tight Ends on our platform (espn) during draft season, and most people don't want to roster two tight ends. Hell, I wasn't even sure about drafting him since I already had Mark Andrews who at the time was a top 3 tight end and I didn't think I would ever use Bowers. I got great value on him though, so I didn't mind rostering 2 TE's in that scenario. Bowers was by no means a top tight end pick during draft season. His ADP was round 10-11 I believe for 10 man leagues.

@@matthewlarose1571 Yes exactly this. Since we are a 10 man league, drafting bowers comes as your second tight end rostered in most cases. In general, most people dont like to roster two TE's, so its not that insane that Bowers fell super late to me. In hindsight it seems like a no brainer, but on draft day he was a rookie TE on a bad offense with Devante Adams in the mix. I just stashed him to see if the upside angle would play out, and with the Mark Andrews debacle early on it ended up being the perfect pick for me.

As a Long time VR and MR user, yes, VR and MR with the proper peripherals and set up, tracking etc. You can not only realistically practice as a QB, the coaches can even use the body tracking to work on mechanics etc... The tech, tracking, haptics is all there. Especially with a NFL Qb's or teams' budget. Im shocked more players arent using VR and MR.

The best 0 RB stable you could have for WR is something like Chase, Collins, and Nabers. Even though the latter few have been hurt, In er that wins championships. But even then you could still get a top tier RB and end up with Collins and Nabers anyway

I entered the draft without a set strategy, only looking for value, due to Chase contract issues i got AJ brown in the 1st Chase in the 2nd, Nbaer in the 3rd then Kamara then Kupp, I tried to get what I thought was a good TE in Kincade cause he was the last TE on the board... Should of waited for Bowers but I listened to Jason about the rookie TE, Grabbed Monty and Kyler, Brian Thomas Jr and Mason with my last pick. Started 6-2. The lesson I learned is be willing to pivot to get great value, even if you endup very strong at 1 position and weak at another you then have trade pieces or depth for injuries, My WR depth was crucial this season so far... So many injuries!

fyi... the VR training for Daniels was started by LSU after he transferred from ASU. He's been training on it since. it along with whatever other coaching techniques definitely made a marked difference in his play and performance from ASU to LSU. I assume other programs are using similar techniques too.

Even if CMC comes back, I would still roster Mason for an emergency. If you have a stud RB who has a no doubt backup and that back up is on waivers and not your bench, you are playing with fire. No shot in the dark is worth a roster spot over backups like Ray Davis, Moestert, Allgeier, Allen etc...
